Add page numbers feature so I don’t have to do it manually?
I could not find a way to add page numbers to my notebook. Is this feature already available or can it be added, including automatic page renumbering when pages are moved? Thanks
The latest update GoodNotes 5.5 is now available on the App Store. While scrolling through your document, you can now see the current page number and the total number of pages in this document. If you don’t like to see the page numbers, you can disable it in Menu > Settings > Document Editing.

It looks like this may still not be included in the last update. I would really love to be able to toggle if pages could be numbered. Sometimes I want that info, Other times I don’t. I especially hate having to manually add it to tons of pages

This update does not place numbers on each page. It would also be great to have the ability to include an auto-updated table of contents (doesn't need to be by default, only optional) along with page numbering on the actual document pages.

I second @Dwight Mason's comment below.

Unfortunately, page numbers on the documents themselves still seem not possible, although many are asking for it

This may be a step too far, but it sure would be nice if we could create an auto updated table of contents along with page numbering on the actual document pages.

Yes, as most others also commented, the page numbers are more or less equally important on the exported pages

It is amazing how Goodnotes is really good at half solutions. They add page numbering but a feature to show on the pages themself... that is too far thought. It’s the same with the Outline. It works, but nobody thought of a simple step to display the index actually on an index page. This kind of improvements don’t even require big out-of-the-box thinking. Only thing needed is some vision and creativity. Are there only programmers in the team???

would it be possible to print the page number on each slide?

Keep up the good work!! I would also like to have the option to have the numbers printed on the (upper/lower) corner of every page (i.e as a watermark)

I agree on this: page number in exported pdf would be very helpful

Thanks, this is a helpful update. However, the numbering does not appear in the printed/exported pages.
The main issue has been that if someone exports a Goodnotes set of lecture notes, either in paper format or in PDF, the pages will not be numbered and hence referencing them will be hard. The remains a major limitation for this (otherwise fantastic) in education. For this reason, I still have to use an Android app that does the page numbering in the output PDF by default.
