Group elements on a page and lock groups to prevent them from accidental changes

Group elements to one group which will be handled as one element ( e..g.. Move and delete) and possibility to lock groups so that they are prevented from accidential movement

    Yes please. It is actually very troublesome to use the lasso tool and keep on circling a math equation carefully in order to move and resize. Every time doing so, I always selected something else and it is getting quite frustrating. Please make them possible to be group together!

    It is 8 years since this post and still the most frustrating thing is writing over an image and then being unable to move the text without moving the image - or erase text without erasing shape behind it. It would be so good if you could lasso elements and choose to lock them in place on the page

    HI, JUST CAME HERE TO SAY - LOVE THE APP, BUT THIS FEATURE WOULD MAKE IT much MORE USABLE FOR ME. SHOULD ALSO BE AN EASY CHANGE TO IMPLIMENT FOR YOU GUYS, EH?

    This would be a great improvement. The possibility of grouping elements such as text with shapes or just any kind of drawing together would make the experience even better. Sometimes I just need to move some word or paragraph as a ‘block’ and keep in place the surrounding elements. It’s also useful when you want to move or select some specific elements and get them bound. Exactly as Pages do.
    This improvement would make possible the use of different layer setting objects in different planes.

    For example in drawing diagrams etc. it would be very helpful to be able to group all lines... into one movable object which could still be edited (unlike an image)

    Like a hand-drawn table for data entry! Erase the contents without the erasing the lines.

    Add the ability to "Group" items together (and ungroup them). This is useful when I take a picture and either write over it or highlight some of it. If I then move the picture and forget to lasso everything, the picture moves, but the writing and highlighter stays.

    Yes...great idea. Allow users to group items that always need to be moved together so they don't need to make sure all items in the group are lassoed before every move!
