[Integration] OneDrive
Please can we have the ability to pull in documents (word, excel,PowerPoint, pdfs, images, videos) directly from OneDrive.
It would be great if these could be live documents with the option to refresh them. If we were able to push notations on PDFs back it would be amazballs.

It would be very helpful to have the same cloud setting possibilities on Mac version as on iPhone or iPad. Settings like connecting OneDrive to goodnotes or starting an sychronisation.

It would be incredibly helpful if GoodNotes supported bi-directional sync with Google Drive or OneDrive—allowing files stored in designated folders to automatically appear within the app. Having to manually import files has been quite time-consuming, especially with hundreds of folders and notes previously organized on my Boox tablet.
I’ve recently transitioned to using GoodNotes full-time in place of my Boox device, and I’m enjoying the experience overall.
As the app continues to improve, I believe many users—myself included—would be open to a monthly subscription for enhanced features and seamless integration.
Sincerely,

I really like your app and I consider myself a power user (iPAd). To increase productivity, I would very much welcome it if the content in the app could be synchronised with OneDrive. Not just a backup, a real synchronisation!

This app is excellent at what it does, but it’s designed more for single users rather than collaborative groups or teamwork in a real-world setting. It seriously lacks multi-platform file management and proper syncing capabilities. The foundation is there, but it’s not fully realized yet. There should be a way for two or more users to work on the same files while keeping everything synced in the cloud.
If the current "backup to OneDrive" feature were transformed into a true 1:1 sync with the ability to use SharePoint as a file source, it would be ideal. Additionally, new users joining the group should be able to sync with the shared file pool seamlessly, allowing them to download files locally, make edits, and have those changes sync back to the cloud.
I’m not even talking about advanced features like user management or editing permissions yet, but having a shared file pool for collaboration is a basic necessity. Without this, it limits the app's potential for group work and collaboration in professional or team settings.
You may even implement such options in a "enterprise" licence, as far as I'm concerned, but this is a must for companies.

A lot of people, including myself can't really use iCloud for professional or personal reasons, and so it would help immensely if we can have Goodnotes sync be a feature for other cloud services like Onedrive or google drive. I don't mean the automatic backup feature, I mean live syncing between devices via Onedrive and other applications

My organization blocks access to OneDrive because, due to the way it is set up, it requires to "give GoodNotes access to the organization". This is the reason why Goodnotes is not used more by the company despite the fact that it is probably the best tool. Would be great if you could revise that or at least provide optionality for the way a connection is made with OneDrive. Thanks

Definitely. I already pay for Microsoft 365 Family, which comes with OneDrive. My Emil fills up the free Google Drive a d 8t doesn't make sense to pay for a different cloud storage.

Especially University Students will have to use f.e. Excel Files saved on OneDrive or Websites in their studies.
It would be nice to be able to embed OneDrive links or Internet-Hyperlinks as Elements in Goodnotes folders, so that you have every data related to your studies in one place and in one view.
Suggestion:
When creating an element in GoodNotes, we use the „+“sign on the top left.
One of the Options shown could be „Embed Link“.
There can then be an interface to enter the link and choose a Name for the Element.
Maybe let us also choose/customize the Icon shown in the GoodNotes Folder, too. With this (i think) rather easy addition of Hyperlinks as elements GoodNotes would be the ultimate tool for students to summ up all their Material needed in class.
The benefits would be immense.

After I selected OneDrive, it showed a blank page when I logged in, and there were no response. No matter how long it waits, it won't be able to successfully log into my OneDrive account.

I'm wondering if instead of using Windows native file explorer, we would be able to have access to look at documents in the cloud to pull our files from OneDrive, or something to that effect.

Same here,
As @Sam pointed out, we need GoodNotes to also recognize the folder structure and not to change the notes/PDFs location. -

Many of us are cross platform users and don't exclusively use Apple, Windows or Android devices. Some people, like me, own a Windows device and an iPad. I've been on the GoodNotes for Windows beta and it seems like you can only log in through Microsoft there. I'd like to be able to sync my notes from my iPad to my Windows device, so the Windows device should be able to support Sign in With Apple and iCloud Sync.
