For use in educational contexts automatic WebDAV-Backup would be a giant leap.

I strongly urge to add automatic backup solution to Synology Nas. Auto syncing solution to personal NAS is very critical for heavy note lover like me. A lot of new user will join to Good Note for just this solution !!

In order to efficiently work together with my colleague we need to be able to share a notebook. But as a teacher we have a lot of critical information that we are not allowed to upload into clouds like icloud. We really need to be able to use the school-server via nextcloud or similar

This feature is extremely critical for me as I want to have full control on my data. I would like to be able to automatically save my notes on my nextcloud server and to able to access them using any of my devices but I can’t.

Really hope that this feature will be added soon. I have been thinking about switching to Notability for a while now because they would allow direct backups to Nextcloud.

Since I operate my own Nextcloud I would love to see in a future release of GoodNotes the possibility to sync with any DAV server instead of the proprietary giants only (iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox).
It's a question of freedom of data ownership.

We are a school with 700 students and are currently in the process of converting to iPads. In the long run, every student will have an iPad. We are currently discussing which note-taking program we will use. Our preference is GoodNotes, but we need WebDAV integration for this to allow automatic backups to our school server. If this integration is not available soon, we will probably have to resort to Notability, although we do not like this program as much.

I really want to start uploading to my personal cloud and not my limited iCloud storage. Until then, I am not able to use Goodnotes to it’s full potential.
