For use in educational contexts automatic WebDAV-Backup would be a giant leap.
This is available in v6.3.16. For setup instructions, please see Use Auto Backup to automatically create a copy of your documents in a supported cloud storage.

Any updates on this feature request?
Notability has this feature but I really do not want to switch.Would love to see "WebDAV" added to "Auto Backup"

This would it make interesting for our school ... we are using Nextcloud which is well integrated with WebDAV backups. I think there are a lot of companies out there who are using similar systems.

I agree, when this feature is added. I will switch from Notability. But I cannot work without it.

Not supporting WebDAV is the only reason I can't use GoodNotes. Notability supports it. GoodNotes is much better than Notability, but lack of support of WebDAV is not acceptable for me.

Adding support for WebDAV would be a great open alternative to the existing cloud options.

I have my own nas, but I can’t save goodnotes notes there, what a shame.

Can you give us please an update on the Implementation of a full WebDAV support?

+1 I want to use my own server to store my own data. Notes are quite personal and therefore I do not want to share it with any cloud provider.

Option to provide additional syncing with aws or gcp is cheap. Those who want the service can do so by paying monthly, to cover the cost

Please, be so kind and give users of GoodNotes full control of THEIR personal data and implement WebDAV for backup.Over 500 votes already for this option should be reason enough.
Nevertheless I'm (almost) a very satisfied alldays user of GoodNotes!

+1 - private WebDAV sometimes is the only solution to offload data if you cannot use cloud services (GDPR of other legal requirements)

Yes, I'm all in for this idea ... get it finally done

I'm interested in backing up GoodNotes through my private nextcloud setup, which supports WebDAV. This would also support other backend storage options.

+1 for WebDav. Give the people the sync tool they want

If the WebDav synchro is developed, which would be great, it should absolutely support 2FA (Synology proposes 2FA on its NAS).
