I want to simply scan parts of a document as a picture, to insert into the middle of my written note instead of as a new page.

It would be so important eg for teachers creating worksheets. Ist’s too difficult now, could be so much easier (just have a look at Notability…)

True. It’s very helpful for school too if you want to add something to a scan or even pdf (!). You could just make a note next to the scan/pdf and don’t have to squeeze it on the scan/pdf.

Same. Like there is in other note taking app, that I can scan a page, with automatically border recognize and to add it as picture to the same page I wrote in, and not as new page…

Just wanted to submit the same idea! Very useful for me, as I regularly scan whole chalkboards with the documents scan feature, but would really like to combine them within my page!
