I’m very torn because I had planned to use Goodnotes, and I bought it right away when I got the iPad, but quickly realised this hugeee con… and now I don’t know what to do, if I should use more money to buy another note taking platform or if I can somehow manage? I would give so much money to be able to write in danish, because I have had the plan of using Goodnotes so long, and I love everything else about it!

Unfortunately until you add support for Swedish I will be moving to notability

The lack of Nordic languages are a dealbreaker. Although Goodnotes seems a better overall option, Notability’s support for Norwegian makes them my only choice.

Jeg har brug for dansk, som et sprog til skrivning på appen Goodnotes, bruger det til at skrive noter til studiet, så der er virkelig vigtig, da mine timer er undervist i dansk.

Please add norwegian, swedish and danish handwriting recognition. Especially with the special characters æ, ä, ø, ö, å.

Pt. er Notability bedre med fuld dansk ocr.

The competitors have implemented the Nordic languages so GoodNotes should also consider to make the move. While I love your software it is a big no, that my text is not searchable just because it is Danish :-(

In the hybrid analog/digital world it is critical to have search available. Therefore OCR of Danish is supercritical as it uses special characters.
