Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

The feature is good but i think the documents should be locked automatically when closed (or at least there should be an option for it). Other than that, i think if a document is locked, it should ask for password when sharing it too.

Love this suggestion. I often take sports breaks with Sportzfy APK https://sportzfyapklive.com/ in between my GoodNotes sessions. Knowing my notes stay locked would give me great peace of mind

I can't believe y'all actually added it. I've been checking once or twice a year for several years hoping for a password update despite being convinced it was never going to be a feature. Much thanks to everyone who worked on the feature.

I totally support the idea of adding password protection in Goodnotes – it would be a great way to keep sensitive notes secure. I often use apps on different devices, and privacy is a big concern. By the way, I recently came across https://dooflixapk.live/ APK which offers a great media experience with security features too. Maybe Goodnotes could take inspiration from such apps that prioritize user control and safety.

By requiring users to enter a specific combination of characters, password protection acts as a barrier between personal information here https://sportzfytvapk.com/ and potential threats such as hackers or malware.

Adding a password protection feature to notebooks would be a fantastic way to safeguard sensitive information. It would give users peace of mind knowing their private data is secure, especially when sharing devices or working in public spaces. This feature could be as simple as requiring a passcode to open the notebook or encrypting its contents for maximum security.

Hi, thanks for this, but does it also exist on the Goodnotes app version for Mac? It only seems to be on the ipad app?
Doesn't make much sense if it then is all visible on the Mac version... -

GoodNotes is already a fantastic tool for note-taking and organizing information across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, but there's always room for improvement. One feature that could enhance user experience is the ability to seamlessly integrate media from social platforms like Instagram directly into notes. Imagine being able to download and insert Instagram videos into your notes for reference or inspiration. A tool like http://iganony.watch/ makes this possible by allowing users to download Instagram videos easily. Integrating a similar feature into GoodNotes could add a new dimension to how users collect and organize multimedia content in their notes.
