Mind Maps
It would be great if mind maps were integrated into the features set for your app! Something sort of like MindNode. I like how easy it is to use their app for those things, but I use Goodnotes for everything else
Thanks for your feedback!
We're excited to announce that mind-mapping tools are now available in the latest version of Goodnotes on Apple devices.
Here are a few ways you can start mind mapping in Goodnotes:
1. Freehand with available shapes and arrows:
You have all the tools you need to start capturing ideas and making connections between them.
Learn more about the improved shape tools.
2. Using the Spider Map template for Whiteboard documents:
In the latest version of Goodnotes, we've introduced a new document type called "Whiteboard."
To access it, click the "+" icon on the right side of the toolbar, then select "View All Templates." You'll see the Spider Map (Mind Map) template ready to add to your board.
Make sure your app is updated to the latest version to get access to these features.

Integrating a mind-mapping tool within the app would allow users to visually organize ideas, brainstorm concepts, and create connections between different pieces of information—all in one place.
Here are some reasons why I think mind mapping would be a valuable addition:* It encourages creative thinking and better organization of complex ideas.
* It complements the current handwritten note-taking style of GoodNotes.
* It could appeal to students, professionals, and creative thinkers who rely on visual structures for planning and brainstorming.
* If implemented, the feature could include customizable nodes, freehand drawing, and the ability to link existing notes to specific nodes in the mind map. Such a feature would further solidify GoodNotes as a comprehensive platform for digital note-taking and idea management. -

Please consider allowing shapes like arrows, text boxes with lines, etc. And please allow the option of pageless whiteboard as part of the app. Having an option for clipboard stickers would also be highly appreciated.
