This is one of the best ideas, sometimes I use a highlighter but I forgot to keep the hex code, the color eye dropper should be a basic tool

Come on good notes! It’s been 4 years, how long are you going to wait?

I hate that I have to download a whole different app to get the color picker eyedrop tool. Ridiculous that it’s not a thing in Goodnotes

Would like a color picker tool that allows you to choose colors from the page you’re working in without needing to know the exact HEX code.

Yes, eyedropper tool would make this app perfection for me. It's an important tool that's missing for me as an art director in the film business. Otherwise everything else is genius!

I will now use and support Notability until this feature is added. We have been asking for an eyedropper and/or a color picker for over 4 YEARS, and it is now obvious to me that you either don't read these suggestion boxes from your customers or you just don't care.
Notability has had this feature for as long as I can remember. Procreate has it. Photoshop has it. But for whatever reason, Goodnotes insists on maintaining the antiquated, time-consuming, inefficient "hex input" system. I do understand certain limitations that prevent you from easily adding highly requested features (adding the ability to record lectures in sync with handwritten notes, for example), but not this one. Adding an eyedropper is not that difficult to do, and yet, you refuse to do it. That suggests tone deafness to customer needs and requests that I can't respect, let alone support.
I love Goodnotes and am sad that it has come to this. All things considered, I think you're the superior note taking app on the market for any number of reasons. But failure to have an eye dropper is such a limitation to creative works that it's truly a deal breaker.

I think that the addition of a tool so that you can sample a colour in the document so that you can then use that as a colour for your pen would be very useful, as it would alleiviate my problem of having to search the colour wheel for ages for the exact match

I second this! I was highlighting in the wrong color and couldn't just 'select' the previous highlights and work with the correct color because there isn't an eyedropper tool.
I had to copy the highlights instead and paste them as objects for each incorrect highlight, which was extremely tedious.
Like someone else said, it'd be nice to have this feature added soon, seeing as this is a paid app. It's a very simple and necessary feature.

Omg yes, I've been wanting this! I have to use a different app to get the hex code and manually type it in if I want the same color :(

A color picker would be nice

Like in the app procreate, I could really use a way to hold down on a color that’s in a document, and have that color appear. Sometimes I will use a custom color but don’t save it and don’t have a way to get it back.
