Dotted/Dashed lines/perfect circles/squares/triangles and more!
This feature is the ultimate tool to make GoodNotes 5 'the' complete notes app.
If these features were to be added, then it would be tremendously high ranking and even better than MS Notes and other famous apps. After 2 years on Campus my personal experience is that most students enjoy using GN5, rather MS apps. The most asked for question in my class is if they will add 'this' feature, because then it would make it complete and is quite decisively when it comes to math and physics.
I am sure that this feature would excel as it is so highly requested among students, it would for sure raise the popularity of the app by many folds!
Suggestions:
- Dotted lines
Dashed lines
both vertical and horizontal
Different usage areas such as:
- Circles (full/half circles/quarter circles)
- Rectangles
- Triangles
- Other rare shapes
Other suggestions:
- 90 degree smooth angle (dotted/dashed lines)
- Auto Sine and Cos wave application (when draw and hold)
- Pre-made shapes or the opportunity to store/save recent shapes for easy access
- This would be beneficial for coordinate systems in 2 and 3 dimensional plane.
- Also beneficial for storing mathematical/physics rules/laws for easy access
- Time saving and efficient

Please....
- add dotted and dashed lines
- add the function, that the lasso tool recognises lines and objects
- add gifs and sticky notes
- add the function that you can record an audio while taking notes, so that you can play it afterwards and it shows what you’ve written in this moment
- add new sizes to the eraser
- add that you can change the background colour of geometric forms
- add that you can select, if the text should be a flowing text or not
