I love Goodnotes 6 on the trial and wanted to get it for my sister with her new iPad to start university. I cannot share my paid Good-notes 5 because she is a new Goodnotes user and cannot download it. While I would love to get Goodnotes 6 for the both of us, we are all forced to switch to notability now. If it’s going to be a subscription, there’s no way we are shelling out redundant money while notability can give us similar features with sharing.
Also, why would you say it’s family sharing supported and deceive people when only Goodnotes 5 supports it and new users cannot download it anyway?

After having a discussion in the classroom with our teacher we decided not to make use of GoodNotes because of the missing Family Subscription. Lots of children do have brothers/sisters where parents do not want to pay twice for the same app.

Unacceptable without family sharing.

Frustrating experience - without family sharing goodnotes is useless, as my daughter is not allowed to use due to her age

As all other mentioned, family sharing is nessesary and i think, you will create satisfied new users, when children grow up and no longer use family-sharing at all. Probably going to switch our family to another notes app.

Feel like they are purposely being deceiving on leaving out mention of family sharing on pricing page. They need to make this very clear at time of purchase on their pricing plan page. We will try notability app now.

I decided to pay for the new version because of family sharing. I was shocked with the result. Hmmm, I'm confused. I moved from GoodNotes 5 to BadNotes 6.

I want my money back. In the App Store it says family supported.

We used GoodNotes 5 for a long time with family sharing. Now me as the administrator of the family bought the upgrade to GN 6 as a one-time purchase. I was very much annoyed to realize that family sharing is obviously no longer possible. There is no mention of that in the AppStore or in the free version of the app. This is inserious !!! I want my money back !!!

We will only carry out a paid update when family sharing is possible and it can also be used by our children < 16 years. The new license model is not acceptable to us.

Goodnotes is useless for us, if it's only allowed for 16 year old persons. The fact that Goodnotes isn't working with the family account makes it worse. For me it makes more sense to think about changing to another product.

A basic example how to ruin a wonderful application!

Without a family sharing feature we do not need this app. Thanks Goodnotes for forcing us to Notability! I still asking myself who was the genius who decided to change the business logic of the app? And did this genius though of that child which is less then 16 years old can not have access to the cloud services by its own. My daughter who is 15+ now, wanted to activate the trial version of Goodnotes6, but she was not allowed by the icloud as she is not 16!

The german schools use GoodNotes, but it can not work, when there is no familyaccount and the App is up to 16. Please change this.
