Bullet list / Sub-bullet points
Allow indentation with bullet points on the "Bulleted List" on the new text feature on Goodnotes 5, not just on the first line of bullet points. Similar to how you would take notes using bullet points in Microsoft, Google, or Pages. PLEASE!

Absolutely need this! Outlines are my go to note taking style to help me organize information. Indent is needed to help understand what adds more detail to which statement.

I don’t understand how a ‘note-taking app’ doesn’t offer the ability to take good notes (ha ha). It in your name!
Firstly, bullet points and sub points can be super important for taking notes, especially using the outline method. These features are not hard and due to the lack of them, I have to type notes in Word, just to transfer them to goodnotes to write and highlight and it wastes SO much time.
Secondly, tables are such a good way of condensing and understanding information and I truly do not understand why you wouldn’t be able to create them. It’s just a pain for anyone trying to make good notes in school/university. Please fix this.
Third, having a digital ruler would be really helpful to ensure things are measured out correctly and straight.
Lastly, I’ve had an issue when trying on the computer app where it would randomly switch between typing and writing mode without any prompting. This caused me to waste a crazy amount of time having to stop and start sentences constantly and I emailed the customer service team and all I got after 2 weeks of waiting was a reply saying to look at the FAQs. This is ridiculous and unacceptable as a paying customer. Overall, I wanted to transfer all of my digital notetaking to this app however I think I am going to look elsewhere because I am super disappointed with the outcome of this app and feel like I was robbed of the money I spent and hope I had for it being a good tool in my uni journay

Changing between pages in text mode is difficult. A smoother transition between pages would be nice.
Also, sub bullet points. More text options overall.

Currently I use Goodnotes 6. It's the paid version. My bulletpoints don't indent when I hit Tab on my MacBook Pro in the typing mode. This seems silly for me to have a paid app that doesn't even have normally functioning bulletpoints. Even Apple Notes has this. It would be great if the bulletpoints functioned normally.
Other than this small thing, I love Goodnotes! The AI features in the latest update are mind blowing!

I take about 60% of my notes by hand but the remaining 40% is using my keyboard. Not having the ability to indent my bullets makes it incredibly difficult to indent and make it look indented. This is a critical feature that is needed to allow for note taking in the same way that I can with my pencil.

Yes please, we want sub-bullet points/ nested list. I want to be able to just press enter and tab to make new sub-bullet points underneath the previous one.

Yes, please! Really need nested lists like these. On Google Docs, we can just press enter and tab to make the next list below, and indented to the right of the previous one. It's very convenient

Hi! I love this app and it is almost my go to, but I still have to use other apps daily in all my classes and at work, because there is no option for a multi level bulleted list where you can make bullet points and then click tab to indent one on the next level and have many levels of lists. This is such a key feature in note taking. Please add this feature!

Absolutely, not being able to use tab to indent sub-points makes the entire typing feature for notes barely useable.

The typing lacks features like bullet listing and automatic and continuous listing of headings and subheadings in a bulletpointed manner.

Be able to write and type in multi-level outlines (e.g., 1(a)(i)) instead of just single-level lists.

Hi I‘m missing bullet point for list in the built-in flash cards.
It would be great, because by making answers for some Questions, sometimes the answer needs a list with bullet points (excuse my bad english) -

Yes! I wish I could use the tab / indent key to create mutliple different levels in my list when typing.
For example...
• Topic
______ • Item
____________ • Detail
____________ • Detail
______ • Item
• Topic
______ • Item
______ • Item -

YES!! We need to be able to use the indent / tab key to create multiple levels on text lists. Typing bulleted listed without that feature is a mess.
For example...
• Topic
______ • Item
____________ • Detail
____________ • Detail
______ • Item
• Topic
______ • Item
______ • Item -

When typing a bulleted or numbered list, I want to use the tab / indent key to create multiple different levels.
Needed for both the "Full-Page Typing Mode" and the "Text Styling / Textbox" features.
For example...
• Topic
______ • Item
____________ • Detail
____________ • Detail
______ • Item
• Topic
______ • Item
______ • ItemThis is a popular request for document outlines, but it would also be great for text within notes & notebooks!

The new typing mode is super useful to write down large paragraph text input.
The bullet list/number list are particular important for notes. However,
we will need sub-bullet points and sub-number lists. For example:
1. background
a) xxx
b) zzz
2. method.
a). xxx
b). yyy
