Enable Masking Tape Functionality While in Pointer Mode

I would like the ability to open and close the masking tape feature while using pointer mode. I often want to utilize masking tape during classes and presentations while simultaneously pointing with the pointer. However, at present, it is necessary to switch from pointer mode to pen tool mode to use the masking tape, which is cumbersome. I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider this improvement.

    The current need to switch modes to use masking tape disrupts workflow and hinders smooth communication during lectures and presentations.
    By enabling masking tape within pointer mode, users could stay focused on content delivery rather than on managing tool changes.

    Allowing the masking tape function to work in pointer mode would make GoodNotes even more efficient for teaching and presenting.
    This would enable presenters to highlight and reveal key points while maintaining the natural rhythm of their sessions without awkward pauses to switch tools.
