Whoa this still isn't a thing?

I seriously considered leaving GoodNotes this morning. I have not yet decided but the audio file is what made me consider moving to Notability. Please consider a few more add ons: A library of simple shapes. Circles, triangles, perfect squares, etc. The ability to draw a line with an arrowhead (on both ends). Thank you for what you have created. I've been a GoodNotes user for years.

I feel like every couple of months, the GoodNotes admin teams come out of their holes and promise us that this is in the 'list of features' they'd like to implement, however, after 6 years of hollow, empty lies it has become evident that this feature will never be implemented, they intend on hanging this imaginary carrot in front of their customers to reel them in on a promise of a feature they have no intention of implementing. So if you're reading this on the 5th of July 2020, know that they have been promising this since 2014.

It won't happen.

The first time I saw this idea suggested was in 2014 and we were told it was being considered as an idea. It has been 6 years since then, has any progress been made on this idea?

Goodnotes is the app that I would like to use when I start college this fall. The ONLY reasoning I am still debating is because Notability has this feature, but Goodnotes doesn’t. I love how creative Goodnotes is, and I find it more efficient. I wish that there was a way to record audio with it.

I need recording functionality

The only thing that makes notability better is the audio recording. Please input it!

I am begging you to include the audio feature as goodnotes already has unique features. The audio feature will help so much to improve the app!

Many people mentioned it. I love the writing experience on Good Notes, but I'm missing this feature of recordings, which would make it way way nice compared to the other apps on the market. I don't know is it a legal issue or patent issue, but these two apps are so similar and honestly, I don't like the look and feel of the other app, but this feature of voice recordings is so amazing. I will still continue using Good Notes, as I used Good Notes 4 before and I'm so for Good Notes, but it would feel like an almost perfect app with this sounds component. Please please please.
