Audio recording that syncs with handwritten notes

We need linked audio recording so that we won't miss anything in the class or in meetings!

The reason behind the success of NOTABILITY is the audio recording functionality, I use notability just for that!

Please add it.

    I have purchased or used all the standard note taking apps. GoodNotes is King of the Mountain with ONE HUGE EXCEPTION - NO AUDIO feature!
    I read through some of the comments - 2014!

    yeah, basically another one of those "just copy notability" request, but its has all my support!
    gn5 and notability are the 2 kings of this game, so its only natural the the best fountain of improvment ideas come from the "adversary" as long as no pattents are violated, i just think you should really copy all good you can ;)

    I seriously considered leaving GoodNotes this morning. I have not yet decided but the audio file is what made me consider moving to Notability. Please consider a few more add ons: A library of simple shapes. Circles, triangles, perfect squares, etc. The ability to draw a line with an arrowhead (on both ends). Thank you for what you have created. I've been a GoodNotes user for years.

    I feel like every couple of months, the GoodNotes admin teams come out of their holes and promise us that this is in the 'list of features' they'd like to implement, however, after 6 years of hollow, empty lies it has become evident that this feature will never be implemented, they intend on hanging this imaginary carrot in front of their customers to reel them in on a promise of a feature they have no intention of implementing. So if you're reading this on the 5th of July 2020, know that they have been promising this since 2014.

    It won't happen.

    You're better off with Notability.

    The first time I saw this idea suggested was in 2014 and we were told it was being considered as an idea. It has been 6 years since then, has any progress been made on this idea?

    Yeah please add this featuree...The only reason I have to use notability is this audio recording feature.You can charge few more bucks for it but please add this feature

    Goodnotes is the app that I would like to use when I start college this fall. The ONLY reasoning I am still debating is because Notability has this feature, but Goodnotes doesn’t. I love how creative Goodnotes is, and I find it more efficient. I wish that there was a way to record audio with it.

    The only thing that makes notability better is the audio recording. Please input it!
