Just add the lecture recording thing it would help y’all out so much and would bring so many customers from notability to good notes.

Literally, the only reason I downloaded notability; love GoodNotes user interface so much more, but I need to record my lectures for certain classes, which forces me to use notability.

I was about to move from years on notability to woodnotes but saw this log, and had a second thought. I think this is absolute critical for me in note taking. Won't move, at least until I see this feature I use on every note I take.

Really convenient synchronization! It's good that now there are a huge number of convenient applications, services that simplify work and life. The fact that we're in mid-2022, having asked for this for YEARS, and still waiting for this feature's integration is not only sad but very telling of how (or whether) GoodNotes operates with its customers in mind. Millions of people pay GoodNotes millions of dollars just to be ignored when they ask for something so basic as audio-syncing. At this point, it seems like GoodNotes is purposefully refusing to integrate this feature so as to differentiate it from and avoid looking subordinate to Notability, which is quite funny seeing as users will n e v e r stop comparing the two so long as this feature is absent from GoodNotes. Y'all know what to do. You always did. I know I'm just an angry drop in the bucket, but I start university soon and this feature is unfortunately a must. After 2 years of GoodNotes, I'm getting Notability. A lot of us are.

It need not be exactly the same, you can differentiate slightly. But please do introduce this.

GoodNotes has been my favorite note taking app throughout undergrad. The one thing I wish GoodNotes that would make GoodNotes a 5 star instead of 4 star is the ability to record lectures while I take notes. I’m starting PA school soon and m struggling with how I can record lectures while taking notes. I want to be able to review my recorded lecture (on various speeds) while reviewing the notes I took as the lecture was recording.
