Please add vocal option so one does not have to use two apps for one process.

It's been several years with many votes and comments, is this feature-request simply not going to happen? I was stoked when I found out any app could record and be able to tap to go back when taking on a particular section. Please add this!

I agree totally with above ... I want to keep my bird book in GoodNotes, I love the freedom of organization at more levels, but I need to capture thier songs and calls! Also, for speeches, I like to keep a draft with an audio copy. Please consider this seriously. Recording from within the program would be great but at least let us copy files in and play audio from within.

You've just released V5.0. Why is this still not a feature?

The ability to record audio notes and then have the timestamp linked to everything you write / draw / type so that a 'special' touch on a drawing, handwritten word or typed word wold just the audio to the point at which it was written would be so powerful and it's truly what your app is missing.

Audio recording would be incredibly helpful, especially for students that want to record lectures!

As many people might say, the one main important feature that Good Notes lacks compared to its chief competitor, Notability, is the ability to record lectures or comments in a meeting you are taking notes in and wanting to also have the audio. Please add this feature, sooner rather than later.

This is very important to me! I have both Goodnotes and Notability and Goodnotes is so much more fun to write on! However, my professors talk fast and sometimes I miss something that they say. I often prefer to use Notability in class just because of this feature. Please add audio recording!

It's been such a long time, I mean two years and a half is such a long time, at least giving us a response about what will happen with the function cause people really wish it.

This is so true, really, guys at GoodNotes should really take this in consideration cause this is the only characteristic that makes Notability be "better", even when I think that GoodNotes is better for the organization and in the fact that it is easier to use and better looking than Notability but even with all of that, when you're in class the audio recording function is ESSENTIAL. You need to keep track of the class and the things your professor is saying so you won't miss a thing so just that function can make a person go with Notability instead of GoodNotes, even if it seems worse in other things, that function is totally needed.

You are getting further and further behind the times by note having recording capabilities in GoodNotes...in other areas you are competitive but without recording you are losing your edge... sorry. Dr Bob, a fan

So when you're taking notes during class it would be so handy to have a voice recorder. It would also be nice that you can retrace what you've written while recording. So if you don't understand something from your notes, you can just go back and see what your teacher said when you were writing those things down. This would be so helpful!
