I am on the fence about whether I should purchase notability or good notes. I like the functionality of good notes better, however, the feature to audio record lectures would be a deal breaker. Does anyone know if this feature will be coming in the near future (like the next 6 months)?

I like good notes but it is completely necessary TO INCLUDE THE AUDIO CAPTURE, only this way it will be the best app of its segment

I love GoodNotes more than Notability (Just like the other 2000+ commentators here). But For you not to add this feature to your App for YEARS, is indicative of either incompetence or lack of business sense. You can read from these comments that end users are leaving and going to your competitors "and for years, nothing is being done about it". I am a software engineer and this can be implemented in 2 weeks if you guys choose to....
I guess I am leaving too....

I want to buy this app but listening to lectures is a key component in why I went with another app. But everything else is great!!

I think it will be good to have that feature as it really helps me to review my notes later. Hope this feature will be included in the next update. :)

Ability to audio record is the only reason I choose Notability over GoodNotes.
GoodNotes has comparable features that are better than Notability, but lack of linked audio recording is a deal-breaker for me.

Similar to livescribe pen need the option to record lectures etc while writing and be able to play back the audio by clicking on the text

I agree with you as well. ADDING AUDIO INTO THE DOC would be amazing too! especially for recording lectures.

I second this. I just purchased Good Notes 4 and disappointed to know that this functionality is not there!!

I absolutely love Good Notes, but I think I'm going to have to move to Notability because the ability to record audio is so important for me. I would love to be able to move back to Good Notes when the ability to record audio is implemented.

As an educator and tech specialist consultant for schools and students, I find Notability to be a stellar app given the audio recording syncing to what is written feature. It would be incredible if GoodNote would offer this too, especially given the other features.
