Please give us audio recording!!!

Recording is a very important feature to me. Studying languages and making sure I can match the pronunciation with the corresponding words, expressions, and sentences is essential in perfecting my knowledge and making the process smoother. Most other features in GoodNotes are so tremendously helpful, but with lack of the recording mode, I feel like I can't rely on this app fundamentally. Is it really that difficult to add? I've seen many other much less developed and free apps that sport this feature.

There are few features less to GoodNotes became perfect, the most important is the possibility to record audio.

I also agree I would these audio features. I was considering purchasing this app until I found out it did not have this feature. I currently use Notability

This is the one missing feature that would make buying this app a no-brainer. Make it so that each stroke on the page is linked to a timestamp in the audio recording.

Lack of Audio recording is the biggest thing keeping me from switching from Noteshelf.

I wholeheartedly agree. I use Goodnotes because I like how well it works with the apple pencil and how easy and intuitive it is to draw scientific figures. I would absolutely love to be able to hook up a USB microphone and record audio as I solve a problem. If I could somehow export this so that students could then watch and hear what I did...that would be a killer feature.
One way to implement this (if PDF files allow this) would be to have a click an audio note on each page.

Yes, I record all my lectures in another app. Would be great to have the recording and my notes all in the same place. This is a reason to purchase Notability

Is it possible to tag or add sticky notes to important parts of the notes you take. So that way you can easily reference it from the navigation bar. For example let’s say you’re taking a note in fluid mechanics. And on page 5 you write a really important definition/equation, and you want to tag it so even though you’re in page 20 or another document in that category you could search for that particular equation using a tag. If you’re still in the document maybe using the navigation bar(that shows bookmarks) to view your document tags/sticky notes.

Also is it possible to add an audio feature that syncs with your writing(like notability).

Yes, this feature (especially Audio Recording) should definitely implemented in the new Version - Goodnotes 5. In that case the most appreciated and advanced feature of Notability would be no longer just theirs but rather yours as well (strengthening of your market position). All users would be totally grateful :)

What keeps me with Goodnotes over any other alternative (and I've tried many) apps in this genre are :
1) quality of the handwriting recognition with the apple pencil.
2) ease of incorporating drawings needed to write lecture notes and think about physics
3) MacOS integration makes uploading for student super easy

That being said, it would be nice to have voice recording for meetings.
