Even just a simple recording function would be pretty awesome as a start.

I used GoodNotes all day yesterday to take over 40 pages of notes at a seminar, whilst recording the audio separately on my phone. Having both in one app, and the option to have the each note time stamped against the audio would be spot on.

I need this! Please include this in future updates. Very useful when marking pupils work.

This feature would have been amazing to have when I was still in school! And it still would be a cool feature to have for the countless meetings I attend.

But I got to add. A few other note taking apps will record audio but none from my knowledge lets you export that audio. So that feature plus the one above would be baller!!!

A recording capability synced to the editing as in Livescribe would be the single most useful update for me as sometimes during meeting, I miss a comment and would go back to review what was being said at the time.

Please please please add an audio function, then I could use good notes in college, I need the audio function for recording lectures, but I have to use notability, which I don't think is as good as good notes, if it had audio then I would recommend to everyone...

I agree 100%. My lectures run 3 hours. I love being able tap on a word and hear the audio for that section without trying to "find" it on a recording. And like you, I find SoundNote to have very few features that I use all the time on GoodNotes!

The most useful feature for me would be to record audio while taking notes. When reviewing the notes, click on a word to hear that selection.
This feature is used with the app "AudioNote" but I like "GoodNotes" much better. PLEASE add this feature so I only have to use ONE app for all my notes!

Totally Agree! This is 1 of the few things I was requesting (if you check out my post) not only would I be able to get my Whole Staff on board with Good Notes, but if you added Voice and an iPhone/MacBook App for Syncing...this would be the #1 Note Taking App of All Time!!! Lets Do This! :)

I am looking to replace my Livescribe A5 Journal with an iPad min and Jot Touch 4. If it could work in a similar play back via PDF and native on the iPad that would be XLNT.

I would love to see an audio recording feature that is synced to written notes, similar to the feature found in Noteability. It's the only major feature missing in am otherwise stellar application!

Tap to listen combined with noise reduction would be nice feature. Perfect solution for every lecture

I think that would be a killer feature. Propably could be even better if there was na option to manualy change the audio quality, that would be the final strike for notability users, anyways GJ
