Please add audio recording!

PLEASE add audio recording like Notability. At least tell us what’s going on, since GoodNotes is on record as adding this feature “in future versions” for years!

It has already been 6 years and yet this feautee has not been added. Somehow, other subpar features like live collaborations are added. Goodnotes, please get your priorities straight.

It's a must feature. Makes GoodNote half it's value aginst Notability.
I was using GN for a couple of years, until I discovered the audio recording of Notability, and i switched.

add audio recording! it's literally the only thing keeping me from choosing notability over goodnotes

This is the only feature that’s keeping Notability on my iPad. I’d love to be able to fully transition to GoodNotes, your organization & templates are so much better. SO PLEASE ADD RECORDING ALREADY!!

Adding audio recording to a note writing session would be a top of the line feature for this app.

Recording of devices internal audio (for example audio from a zoom meeting) would also be very nice!!!

if the developer add this feature on the upcoming update, it's official, goodnotes will be the best. end of story.

Oh my god please add it already. Not to be pushy but I've seen tweets from good notes dating back to 2017 that they were trying to add it. How hard can it be to just add a voice recording feature, its been more than 2 years. Even a basic iteration where you can only hear the audio within the app would be fine, it doesn't even have to follow the notes you've taken.
