pen smooth streamline procreate stabilization .
There are a pages and pages of people requesting this as an improvement. They are scattered into many posts, but they are all trying to say the same thing!!
The problem is, people aren't sure how to describe what they are looking for. It took me a while to discover they are called streamline and stabilization... and I have Procreate. Most people are typing in web searches like 'how can I make my writing smoother' or 'better handwriting with pen'. This feature is what they are looking for. It is too bad that it is not a feature yet . How many more people would be drawn to Goodnotes if this was added?!!!! Finger crossed!

Dismissible memo on the side of page (like a sidebar)
Sometimes I want to jot notes , but there isn’t enough empty space. Memo is nice but I dont want the memo to cover up the words in my document. Someone suggest expandable memo but then it may be easily missed when rereading the document.
I suggest a feature where we can add memo at the side of the pdf (outside of margin), function is similar to expandable page but more aesthetic. and it can be chosen to show or dismiss with something like a sidebar option. When dismissed, just the original pdf will be shown. When the option is opened, all the memos will be shown on the side of corresponding pages. It will be more visually clean than unlimited expandable pages while adding the functionality of adding more writing spaces.

Customizable pen smoothening
The reason I'd like this feature is because I have Parkinson's Disease. And as a student in University; I struggle a lot in keeping a nice and tidy handwriting when taking notes. If yall could help me out by voting for this, it would be hugely appreciated!

Separate handwritten pen texts from highlights
In the Lasso tool and in the Erase tool, it would be great if it could separate what is written with a pen and what is written with highlights. if I have a note that is highlighted but I need to edit the text, I can’t erase what I wrote because, it would erase the highlighter also. The same happens when I use the lasso tool. If the handwriting is selected, it will move both the highlighter and the pen text. And sometimes I just want to move the text only.
If there is a separate tool for something, it should also have a separate toggle button in the Lasso and Erase tool panel.

Study Set - Enable Tape Function
Enable the ‚Tape‘ tool for study sets as well. It is super helpful but can currently not be used in practice mode, the option to make the tape transparent does not work there.

Add ability to create line breaks between text
This feature would allow you to create a space between handwriting and images that have been placed on a page, allowing you to add more information.
For example, let's say you have a numbered list:
1. Add eggs
2. Bake
And perhaps you want to add something in between number one and two on the list, instead of having to erase number 2 or lasso it and move it down, imagine if one could simply tap between the two and push it down, similar to a feature that exists in onenote. This would make rapid edits and changes to a document so much easier, especially in large documents where your edit may require pushing down a significant amount of text.This feature would allow you to create a space between handwriting and images that have been placed on a page, allowing you to add more information.

image to ink conversion
In other apps, you can upload an image (of a whiteboard with text on it, for example), and convert the text to ink on your screen. It allows editing the text (instead of just placing the original image in your notebook). This can help me a lot!!!

Make the Windows application the same as the Macos one
That the Windows application is the same as the macos and iPad, is it missing much? we really need all these tools. in addition to that I lost many sheets of documents because some functions are blocked when being a web application. Please.

cannot start recording if I connect to an EarPods
When connecting to an EarPods (USB-C), I cannot start a recording. Tapping recoding button resulting in a disabled recording button and not turning into recording state.

Make it MAC compatible ios lower than 13.5 !
My ipad just uploaded the new version of Goodnotes 6. The new version is not compatible with my Mac. Wich has the Monteray 12.7.6.
Now my documents wont update on my mac since it's not available !
PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE ? WHAT IS THIS ?!
I was able to do this yesterday. But now the new update prevents me from doing so !

Import to existing document
When importing a document to Goodnotes, besides “import to current” and “import to a new document”, also add the ability to “import to existing document” and browse to the document and page where you want to insert. This would be more convenient than having to open the document/page you want before importing. That interrupts my work flow. Thank you.

Goodnotes 6 - "Zoom Window Return Height" in custom templates
Please (re-) add the functionality of being able to specify the "Zoom Window Return Height" to custom templates into Goodnotes 6.
It was there in GN5 (https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/201565249-Adjusting-Zoom-window-return-height-for-a-template) but missing from GN6

Being able to fold pages
A new tool to “fold” pages vertically or horizontally to divide the page into a customizable number of rows/columns. This would be helpful for creating tables etc.

Lined Notecards
I would rather have lined note cards than blank ones because everytime I want to create a study set, they are always slanted and not in neat lines of words.
