Continuous pages
I would like the possibility to use continuous pages instead of a set size of a page. The width is okay, but the possibility to scroll down more or less endlessly would be nice. I think this way my notes are more structured because I can have one topic on a page and not over several pages. I know this concept from OneNote and this is the only function I really miss.

[New languages] Maori
Please could you include te reo Maori (the Maori language) in your supported languages. There is huge Maori language regeneration in New Zealand supported by new generations of Maori who have been schooled in their language and non-Maori who are keen learners of the Maori language. There would be great uptake by New Zealand users of goodnotes.

Measuring lines when moving things
When moving texts or images it would be very helpful to have lines that equally space out the text or images like in Canva

Expand Your Creativity: New Design and Manipulation Tools
Description:
I suggest adding features to GoodNotes that provide greater control and flexibility in creating notes and designs. These improvements include:Precise Alignment and Equitable Distribution: Adding a contextual menu that allows aligning objects (such as text boxes and stickers) to the left, top, right, bottom, vertical center, and horizontal center. Additionally, enabling equitable distribution and equidistant alignment between objects would be fantastic!
Object Grouping: Allowing grouping objects to manipulate them as a unit, facilitating the organization and editing of multiple elements collectively.
Precise Size Definition: Implementing the ability to precisely define the size of objects by entering specific values for height, width, or proportion, offering greater control over the layout of notes.
Object Transparency: Introducing the option to apply transparency to objects, allowing for more sophisticated and visually interesting layers and overlays.
Text Shadows: Adding the ability to apply shadows to text, providing an elegant and three-dimensional visual effect.
Benefits:
These improvements would not only expand the capabilities of GoodNotes but also offer users powerful tools to express their creativity more effectively and sophisticatedly. The addition of these features would make the app even more versatile and appealing to a wide range of users, from students and professionals to design enthusiasts and digital artists. Conclusion:
The implementation of these functionalities would not only meet the needs of users who want greater control and precision in their creations but also keep GoodNotes at the forefront of innovation, ensuring an exceptional and engaging user experience. I can't wait to see these improvements become a reality and explore all the creative potential they will offer!Description:

a feature to create documents as well as notebooks
I use Goodnotes for all of my university note-taking, but do not find the notebooks sufficient for essay/report writing. It would be very useful if it were possible to create a document, rather than a 'notebook', geared more towards typical word-processing, so that I can keep my essays and notes all in one place!

Delete Default Fonts/ Show # of custom fonts
Having the ability to delete or remove the default fonts to make more room for custom fonts. Or at least show the maximum number of custom fonts we can have in the app

Bring back drag a dropping of screenshots from macbook to ipad again
we used to be able to take a screenshot on our Macbooks and drag them to insert into a note, now you have to insert a photo on the ipad. This just makes the process 10 times longer, really wish this feature could come back, I don't know why it was removed in the first place from good notes 5

Linking FROM other apps TO GoodNotes pages/objects
There a many suggestions w.r.t. to linking and it seems to me that they relate to linking FROM GoodNotes to websites or within GoodNotes itself.
What I would want is to link FROM another app TO a page or even better any object within GoodNotes.
Example: Within DEVONthink I can get a url (e.g. x-devonthink-item://32BE24E3-...) to any item (group, document, PDF page, search, ..) within its database. I use those links from other apps like Omnifocus, Obsidian, ...
The existing Sharing seems to link to the whole notebook (which might have dozens of pages) and allows for collaboration (which I don't need).
Sorry if this is a double-post, please feel free to merge those.

Dragging problem and etc
Drag is very weird and hard to move around. Also, when I logged back in, all the colors disappeared, so I had to re-enter a new color again, which was very cumbersome. Page loading time is very slow and sometimes it erase some parts of my writing.
Lastly, when typing, words are omitted due to buffering or the same words come out continuously, making it inconvenient to take notes.
Why is it still different from IOS? As I know, it's been almost half a year since the Android version was released, but there are no additional functions like the IOS app.Drag is very weird and hard to move around. Larger thumbnails for pages in page view on laptop version
I use GoodNotes to store pdfs of my textbooks for college. I bookmark specific chapters, but it is so hard to find what page I am looking for because the thumbnails are an inch tall while looking at the page view.
I think it would be best to have these thumbnails bigger because it is impossible to read a word from a page without moving my face really close to the screen.
I attached two screenshots showing how small and unfortunately illegible these pages are. I also use GoodNotes on my iPad, and I love it. I feel like this is only an issue for the laptop version.
Thank you!!

High time to introduce full screen presentation mode.
Goodnotes should have full screen presentation mode, specially with the ability to hide toolbar with one tap.

navigation finger
I'm missing an option where you can set the pencil as a finger only to navigate. It's very practicable for reading, so you can navigate with the pencil and switch to highlighting and back, for example. It also helps with clicking on hyperlinks. This way, the user doesn't have to switch between the pencil and their finger all the time.

Book shortcuts
Shortcuts to get to books. For instance I want a book to be in two folders since its relevant to two folders. However I dont want different copies of the book in the two folders. I would rather have the book in one folder and a shortcut of it in the other.

Extend toolbar over the full width to show all tool options
When reducing the tools in the toolbar the tool options window remains the same width, even when there is room to expand to the full window width.
It would be nice to see all options for a tool when the space is available.1 vote -
Proposal for Optimizing GoodNotes for Macbook Users
Dear GoodNotes Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am a long-time user of GoodNotes on my Macbook and greatly appreciate the app. However, during my usage, I have identified some areas for improvement that could significantly enhance the user experience.
Firstly, I would like to suggest optimizing GoodNotes for Macbook users, particularly with regards to the writing experience. It would be fantastic if the app could automatically detect that it is running on a Macbook and adjust the writing width accordingly. This would eliminate the need for users to manually adjust settings constantly to achieve the optimal writing experience.
Another proposal involves utilizing AI to automatically recognize tags and annotations within the app. If the app could suggest or apply relevant tags and annotations automatically, it would greatly simplify the organization of notes and documents.
We believe that these enhancements could have a positive impact on the user experience and make GoodNotes even more appealing to Macbook users.
We hope you will consider these suggestions for inclusion in future updates. We understand that implementing such features may be complex, but we are confident that they would take the app to the next level.
Thank you for your attention and for your excellent work in advancing GoodNotes.
Best regards,
Danny Aluc
