Scroll speed is too slow
scroll speed is too slow… so I am using alternative apps even I bought goodnotes 6… The only reason is vertical scroll speed.

Default view when opening a document
Please add an option to open documents with “page width view” (just like what we have in Microsoft Word) to zoom the page so that the width of the page match the width of the screen (fit to page width).
I use my iPad in landscape mode and whenever I open a document in Goodnotes, I have to double tap it to view the document in page width view. There should be an option to make this default. Notability opens documents in page width view without doing anything.

convert writing to text
Simpler way to convert handwriting to text. Other apps you can just double tap and it converts. The lasso is helpful, but requires a good amount of dexterity (circling accurately and tapping on the line).

When I import pdf, link to references should be enabled
When I import any paper or pdf which has references, upon clicking on used references taking to the right reference should be enabled.
Right now this feature does not exist. The current update is charging so much but this simple feature is not yet there even after so many posts. Other notes apps provide this feature. Kindly consider this.1 vote -

Align Handwritten Text
Create an option to align handwritten text either to the left (for bullet points), right, middle, or bottom — this is a function similar to that of Adobe Illustrator.
Sometimes when handwriting notes (especially on documents that do not have writing lines), the text may become slanted as we write. Creating an option to align the text would make it much quicker and easier for users to improve the look of our notes.

Reporting Stuttering Issue During Note-taking
I would like to report a persistent problem with stuttering while taking notes. When I use my iPad for extended periods of time for note-taking, I encounter issues with the writing becoming stuttered. Restarting the iPad seems to temporarily resolve the issue as it resets the undo/redo stack, making note-taking smooth for a while. However, if I continue to take notes in this state, the undo/redo stack grows larger, causing delays when pushing new changes, resulting in stuttered writing.
For instance, when I write 'hello,' the first part 'he' is smooth, but as I continue to write 'llo,' the writing becomes choppy and disjointed. This problem persists when I write consecutive sentences as well. To write 'hello' smoothly, I need to pause for about a second after 'he,' then another second after 'll,' and finally after 'o.' This indicates a severe stuttering issue that needs attention.

Smaller UI
The UI does not have to always be visible. When i am taking notes i just want a FULLSCREEN (see that idea too) paper and maybe a widget on one of the edges for changing the color or the thickness of my pen. I don't need to have the save and delete and bookmark and tabs and title and everything on top of the paper. Just tools and colors. For more there should be a pop-up menu or something.

Earn Recognition for Your Handwriting Contributions: Rewards and Badges
I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback on GoodNotes' handwriting recognition feature. I think it is a great initiative to allow users to contribute their handwriting samples to improve the accuracy of the algorithm.
However, I also think that there is room for improvement in terms of motivating and rewarding the users for their contributions. I suggest that GoodNotes should implement some kind of reward system or badge system that recognizes the users' efforts and achievements. The rewards could be something simple like some free exclusive stickers. And the badges should indicate the number of contributions made by the users.
I believe that this would increase the engagement and loyalty of the existing users, as well as attract new users to join the handwriting recognition project. This idea is similar to Google Crowdsources, where users can earn badges and levels based on their contributions. This creates a sense of competition and fun for the users who participate.
Furthermore, I think that it would be even more exciting if there is a leaderboard that shows the rankings of all users' contributions. This would add an element of challenge and social comparison to the feature.
Lastly, I have a more ambitious idea that might be too much, but I think it would be awesome if we could follow our friends' GoodNotes accounts and see their contributions highlighted. This would create a smaller leaderboard among our friends and foster a sense of community and sociality within the GoodNotes experience. This could also increase the users' interaction with the app, even when they are not using it for note taking purposes.

Export Goodnote to Outlook
GoodNote 5 and GoodNote 6 are experiencing an issue where they cannot export PDFs to Outlook. After clicking on Outlook, it prompts to add a label, and when you press 'add label,' the Outlook program crashes immediately. It simply closes by itself every time. This prevents the export of files from GoodNote to Outlook. Can you please help me resolve this issue?"
