workbooks for school
I sell (printed) workbooks for secondary school in Germany.
Is there a possibility to sell workbooks as PDFs (approx. 160 pages) in your pop-up store?
It’s important that the PDFs cannot be shared or forwarded simply to other devices via AirDrop for example, but can only be used within the own account.
Furthermore, I'd like to know if buttons with embedded links are possible in the PDFs?
This would be an interesting market for all textbook publisher (who offer workbooks) if they could sell their books copy-protected through your platform.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards

Margin Extender
Be able to add set amount of blank white margin to an imported file. Currently, my round about would be open it through the MarginAdjuster app (Made by some japanese) the after editing it in the app, open with Goodnotes. It would be better if the process would be seamless and more people would be able to access this kind of feature.

#Design : Tools to Align & Group Objects
It's straightforward.
Create a set of tools like found in Photoshop ( or any design software ) which allow objects ( text, images, shapes, stamps, etc.) to be selected and aligned to:
1. an object
2. the canvasAdditionally, add a tool for grouping and ungrouping objects and one to "send to the back" or "bring to the front" (practical when objects overlap ).
GoodNotes is a note-taking app, and it should be equally considered a design app. Missing these simple tools that allow me to organize my content makes GoodNotes less effective and less efficient ( and often frustrating ) at its intended purpose—organizing one's notes.

Handwritten comment section instead of limited to type-set comment section
It would be great if the "Comment" allows handwritting in case the user prefers to have a better description of the "Comment" or else make references to equations and/or graphical elements without affecting the main document due to small margins or high density of information..

Spaced repetition
There should be some middle ground for the answer. I mean currently there are only 2 options, “i know” “i dont know” it will be great if you add two more like “i knew it partially “ and “i knew it but took effort to get there”. And one more suggestion if it contains nested subfolders. It will be great.

Making it usable for students under 16 years of age (AGAIN)!
In the AppStore (iPadOS), the app is listed as 4+ and with family share. After buying the app (subscription or lifetime), you have to log in and the age rating of the app is changed to 16+. This means that the app is no longer usable for students under the age of 16 and therefore in many schools. Whether this is desired or a bug, this should be changed asap, as thousands of students and teachers work with the app here.
It is not a (big) problem if the parents of unmanaged iPads pay for the app. But it is a big problem if the app is no longer usable and students no longer have access to their digital exercise books because the age rating does not fit. Enable a share without edit feature
I am in management and use GoodNotes for many things including staffing. It would be great to be able to share documents that are ‘live’ with any updates that I make, without having to ‘reshare’ a link, BUT with a option to share in a VIEW ONLY MODE (so I can make changes that my staff can see in real time, but my staff not be able to make changes)

Mass create / import study cards
Create study set from a csv or json file and import to goodnotes.
Creating large quantities of cards one-by-one is mind-numbing, so it would be much easier to do it on a computer with a keyboard in one big file, then import and study on the go!
Copy pasting a json card template 300 times is a lot easier than swiping, scrolling, and dealing with an onscreen keyboard to create those cards.
My specific use case is learning airport codes, airline codes, and other long lists of simple information.
Other use cases might include:
- memorizing chemical elements (over 100)
- states and capitals (50+50) (would require images, so maybe a zip format with json and image files?)
- recognizing crystals and rocks, plants, etc.
- any memorization task when starting a new job
- putting names to faces before a big meeting
- learning a corporation’s brand and values before a job interviewAlternative: Publicized file format for good notes import and export, specifically as relates to study sets!

Toolbar and pen sizing collapsed into drop menu, new update frustration
I hate that the new update collapsed pen sizing into a drop menu. This messes with my workflow because I tend to do fast pen switching and now it feels more clunky now that there's a fourth color option. Please allow for toolbar editing/rearranging.

Mobile toolbar for left-handed users
I wish we could change the settings to the setup of the toolbar. I am left handed, and it is inconvenient for the entire toolbar to be centered toward the right of the screen. There should be a setting to center the toolbar on the left or true center, as this immobility significantly increases the amount of time needed to switch between writing tools or use the undo/redo feature.

Allow More Manipulation to the Paper Position (When zoomed in)
There have been several instances where I have tried to write on the left margin of my paper and since I am left-handed, I cannot move the paper enough to the right for my preferred zoom level to write. If you zoom in a lot to where it fills your screen, there is no ability to extend the paper any more than the margin of your screen.

Tool permanence
Before, I could use the highlighter, close the toolbar, reopen the toolbar, and still find the highlighter selected. Now when I close and reopen the toolbar, the pen is selected.
Would you please fix this?
