Display the HEX Code in the Clour Menü
It would be great if there is a way to display the hexadecimal color codes right under the color in the color menu. Maybe with a button in the menu itself.

Different set of tools for each notebook
It would be nice if each notebook could store a set of tools. This would be to select the 3 sizes that the application allows you and a series of colors for a specific notebook, that is, that the sizes are not modified in general, but only for that notebook. This could be implemented with a padlock-like button to lock the settings for that notebook only.
It would be great for when you import a pdf of a different size from the notebook you usually use and you want to write on that pdf.4 votes -
Easily changing line thickness
I often used the quick select for changing the line thickness. I enjoy the new UI and want to keep it. As an improvement, we should be able to swipe up or down on the line thickness symbol in order to change the thickness. This allows us to keep the creative UI element while also removing clunkyness of having to dig through a menu for a quick feature and adding an intuitive way to change the line thickness as the thicknesses are already highlighted when changed.

I would like to be able to share flash cards with my other devices by using iCloud.

Input scanned documents as images instead of full pages
On a daily basis I (and tons of other students) find it extremely useful to take photos of the board the professor writes on and insert said image into my handwritten notes.
The document scan feature is perfect for this, as it straightens and adjusts the image and makes it more legible.
Unfortunately every time you use it the scanned image is imported on a new page. An option to insert the scan as a resizable image instead would be perfect. Thanks!

Voice Memos Named and Put in a Specific Location
Love the new voice memos feature, I wish that they were easier to use though. I would appreciate it if the names could be edited after recording, and if they could be linked to and played by a voice memo sticker on the page.

Accessibility Option - Invert
Allow for inverting colors of a document opened in the app. Nothing fancy like iOS smart invert needed; just invert all colors in document ignoring menu and drawing/highlighter colors. My eyes are sensitive to light, but I need to use an iPad to be able to view my textbooks in large print and take notes; I literally use sunglasses while studying, cause I require the contrast so lowering brightness doesn't help. Smart invert also doesn't work, and regular iOS invert is annoying to turn on and off as I am switching back and forth between apps during long and short…

Use lasso scissors tool to cut PNGs out of images
A very useful feature would be the addition of a scissors/cutout tool which can be used to manually cut out a PNG shape from an uploaded image.

Que sea posible escribir en las 3 columnas
Quisiera que fuera posible escribir con el teclado en las tres columnas en el papel de tres columnas ya que ni bien termina una columna dice que se necesita abrir otra pagina. Seria conveniente que en vez de abrir otra pagina, el texto pasara a la siguiente columna, no a la siguiente pagina.

Cross reference, bibliography, and end note
Some academic papers use endnotes. Would like a feature to quickly move between two points in a document. I might manually scroll to the bottom of the document to check the notes, but then it would be nice to have a button or toggle to take me back to where I was.

Grid overlay
It would be amazing to be able to add a grid overlay to documents. I primarily use GoodNotes to annotate note slide pdfs with blank backgrounds and i find it would be much easier to have neat and straight printing if this feature was offered.

Do not show folders in presentation-mode
In Goodnotes 6 Presentation Mode seems to not work properly. When choosing a new document in the file-explorer, the audience also can see my files and folders. Was not so in GN5 - the last document was locked and I could choose a new one without showing everything to the audience.

Change date
I need the ability to change the “creation date” of a note.
This, along with the ability to sort by creation date would allow a reasonable sort of my notes as I sometimes need to write notes referring to previous day.
Without this, as manual sorting is not an option and wouldn’t make real sense for many people I guess, GoodNotes becomes unusable as it quickly turns into a mess.

One touch line thickness selection
Return the one touch thickness presets.
I appreciate the new update, which enables me to add more than three colors options, but it has removed the quick selection function for changing the line thickness. I often change the line thickness and the updated version of GoodNotes turns this into a three-step process where the previous version This was just a one quick tap.

Move Zoom Icon in Toolbar in GN6
On GN6 you moved the zoom icon so far to the right that I can‘t access it right away on my iPad Pro 10,5. In portrait view the icon disappears behind the line width option. That’s super annoying for the work flow

That when you scan a document, you can focus the document by clicking on it, like in the camera app for example.
