Lasso tool selection
I am a student studying in Korea. When studying with a good note, if you move the handwriting with the lasso, I hope that the highlight and handwriting will be separately selected.

Text styling does not support selection of text
When I stay in text styling and want to select text this is not possible, I have to move to the image module or turn off the writing function to be able to select text. After pasting, it automatically redirects to text styling ...... which makes me very angry and speechless. Please restore the previous functionality, the experience after the update is extremely poor and has affected my studies, please fix this bug as soon as possible!

Colour Options
Like to be able to change the colours for goodnotes and having only 3 options for the colours with one usually being black is quite restrictive and changing it every time can be tedious. Would be very nice if we could have more pen colour options on the toolbar. Thanks for considering my idea!

Add character thickness change function
I have a suggestion, and I hope that the function to change the font size and thickness of the pen can be added when selecting the written part as a snare when writing with a pencil. There is something called resizing on the menu, but if the size of the writing pen is 0.7mm, not what I want, I would like to change the writing part to 0.5mm or 0.3mm. Sizing is really adjusting the size.I just want to change the thickness of the pen here while maintaining the size. There is a hassle of rewriting the written part, so if you choose a noose, it would be nice to add this function to change the thickness of the pen.

App bounces too often in the official version of iPAD OS 16.1
Apps bounce too often in iPad OS 16.1. It bounces so much that I can't work on it;;

Add additional collapsable/hidden pages to the main page.
An existing page(main page) must have options to add side pages which can be used to have more information for a topic/content present on the main page.
Basically using the side pages as rough workspace to note down more info of a particular topic present on the main page where the side pages can be hidden when not needed.
Example:
1) An equation on the main page and its derivation on the side pages(collapsable/hidden pages) that can be accessed whenever required and can be hidden away when not required.2)A formula on the main page and sample problems and solutions on the side pages that can be accessed whenever required and can be hidden away when not required.

Low vision
Create better accessibility for low vision users. It would be nice to have the ability to increase the boldness of the lines on pages or the ability to increase the size of the tools menu. Currently I have to use the zoom feature to help choose the correct tool. We are not all created equal in the low vision community so it would be nice to have options. This doesn’t seem like it should require votes or likes. Thank you.

Priority in Title
You have the bookmarks, but including a priority star at the top as a reminder to revisit the document as a whole would be helpful for those in school

when you make Photos in goodnotes app save also the gps position with the foto, like it is possible at the iphone

Ideas about content and page number
I hope that you can added two useful functions to the app.
The first one is that let the user modify the code of book, that is, let the user customize the first page of books. The users can not go to according page that the content tell us because the page number in the app is a sum equals the later page number add the content，including the cover. That's really make me crazy.
The second one is that Increase the level of the outline. We can add the page to the outline, but we can not set the lever of it. You know in most time a chapter has many subtitles. When we add them to the outline, they are the same level as the title of the chapter. It is not clear for users to figure out what the structure of the book.
Please these two functions to the new version.

Handwrite to text
After the update 3 months ago, the handwriting to text convertion has bugs and I can’t convert old writings to digital text correctly.

Organize comments in outline section
Glad you added comments! Earlier I requested a collapsible post it, it this is better! I wish I could see all comments in one place, like in the outline section. Attached is a place you could do it!

Presentation mode
Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue, but recently I have started using iPadOS 16 on my iPad Pro which comes with a bunch of new features including dedicated external display support. However, with an external monitor connected, GoodNotes forces me into presentation mode meaning I cannot use my external monitor for anything other than displaying my notes.
This is a real issue when I’m studying as I cannot read my lecture notes or watch my lecture online on the external display. This leads me to having to use regular notes for iPad to bypass this issue. I really love your app and simply wish for the ability to toggle presentation mode on and off as I noticed this was not one of the options in settings.

To favourite different pens & colours in same pen.
I mostly annotate pdfs, i use 3 highlighter colours in 2 sizes and 2 colours in pen. Now I have to every time change colour of highlighter and change pen, then again highlighter & colour. I have to touch screen twice or thrice to change it. I want to have an option to favourite 3-5 custom combinations, it would increase my speed & efficiency. And also an option to guickly access them would be great. Thank you.

Highlighter Draw in Straight line ALWAYS STRAIGHT
I can’t draw a straight line and I use goodnotes mostly for studying and I have to use highlighter a lot and I find it uncomfortable to undo over and over again to undo not-straight line highlight (or even curve line). If I want it to be freestyle I’d set it to freestyle right? So, PLEASE make the option be as it should.

GPS - Location insert
Insert the actual Position as Web-Link and as 2 little Maps, Klick on it opens AppleMaps or GoogleMaps. The inserted Pic is scaleable like other pictures.

Blank page after imported pdf
I use good notes while studying various reports and documents. When I import a pdf or other file I usually want a blank page following each page of the imported document so I have the option of marking up the pdf or taking free form notes. Inserting an option into the import workflow to “add a blank page after each imported page” would decrease the overhead of manually adding; a relatively minor productivity increase, but one that would scratch a small annoying itch.

a punctuation phenomenon
It's a symptom that's been around for a long time, but it hasn't been fixed yet. Sometimes, there is a symptom that the stroke of a letter is marked as if it were cut out. Please revise it.

Automatically "Copy" when you select "Screen Shot"
I usually screenshot parts of a pdf (i.e. questions) and then move them onto a new page (to solve).
Right now I have to:
- Select the region
- Select "Take a Screenshot"
- Wait for a pop up window to show up
- Press the "Share Button"
- Wait for another pop up window to show up
- Press the "Copy" button
- Wait for both pop up windows to close
- Then hold the lasso tool and press "Paste"It would be great if I can just:
- Select the region
- Select "Take a Screenshot"
- Then hold the lasso tool and press "Paste"Perhaps having the option to switch between the two can be a setting of the lasso tool
