Book view/edit feature missing since ages.
Yes, this feature is long time missing. So many times the developers have been informed about this. There should be an option to edit in book view. It would be so convenient for students like us to read and write the content like a book than a single page taking a whole lot of space on the screen

Option to fit all pages to one width
When rotating a page in a PDF document, the width of the single pages varies from the upright to the horizontal ones. This causes vertical scrolling to also scroll left or right sometimes. Double-tapping to zoom also doesn't feel as natural anymore.
I'd like to have an option to display all pages in the same width. That would solve both problems.4 votes -
Zoom window line-break fix
When the zoom window extends past the edge of the page, the next line should appear inline following a grey area to denote the page boundary.
Currently, the zoom window handles line breaks inconsistently. If the blue 'advance' region is too long for the remainder of the line, it sometimes continues with a carriage return/ line break. However, the auto-advance does not always perform this line break. Sometimes, the blue region appears but only attempts to advance further within the same line. multi page pdf to template
I'm unable to add a template with multiple pages. Not allowing this makes it where I cannot use the auto-zoom feature because it zooms too far down and cannot be adjusted unless it's a template. PLEASE FIX!

Customizable keyboard shortcuts
Please add the ability to edit keyboard shortcuts. I have a very specific setup and being able to assign keys where I want them is a very important factor in workflow.
I am glad there is keyboard support at all, but I can't imagine this is beyond the ability of your staff to add.

For every page we make, we can develop an index as in a chapter with multiple file names, like feature of adobe PDF, easy to scroll & find.

Focus Mode
I love reading and studying on goodnotes but the only downside is while reading is immersive thanks to full screen. Writing introduces an unnecessary number of button clicks to start writing, and distracts from the material
If there was a Focus Mode, which was full screen and only allowed writing in one stroke type and erasing using the Apple Pencil. That would drastically improve my focus and ability to study.

Improved accuracy of handwriting search
To improve the accuracy of handwriting searches, it would be ideal if the user could edit the recognition results to some extent.
My handwriting is clean, but sometimes there are spaces in words such as English words, and when this happens, they are not found in searches.
Also, no matter how many times I rewrite my handwriting, it is always different in GOOD NOTES, so I can't search for it.
I am a Japanese speaker, so I use hiragana, kanji, and katakana, and I sometimes write in English and other languages. I expect it would be difficult to recognize them…1 vote -
Show Date Created as well as Date Last Modified
This is not a major, groundbreaking change, but I think it’d be incredibly useful for some use cases if GoodNotes showed the date that notes were created as well as when they were last modified.
I often want to go back to notes that were created around a particular date, such as, say, November 2016. Once I make a change to an old note I currently have no way of knowing when it was originally created. I do a lot of planning that requires knowing when documents were created, which is making me regret having stored my docs in GoodNotes…

Favicon for pdf files on home screen
Problem: sending pdf files to GoodNotes via e-mail the home screen is updated with new files and pdf extension is added to the file’s name, what it turns out to be MyFileName.pdf.pdf when the edited pdf file is exported.
Solution: Adding a favicon to the top left indicating it’s a pdf file and removing the .pdf from file’s name itself.

Go to page option when long pressing an outline
On outlines page Currently when you long press an outline you can only delete it or change its name, an option to go to the that page could be really useful.
Right now the only way to this to go to the thumbnails, then to the outlines, then to the page, then to the thumbnails again.
Something like the one in the picture could be small thing to add and could be pretty useful

Studying flashcards on iOS should be more optimized for landscape mode.
When studying flashcards on iOS, the card is severely minimized to the point where the text can’t be read. Not all people use flashcards for single words or short texts. It’d be better for the whole question portion to be maximized in full screen when studying the flashcards in landscape mode, then have the answer show up in fullscreen next.

Add ios 15 translation feature
Apple announced that iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey feature system-wide translation, allowing users to translate text by simply selecting it and tapping or right clicking on the Translate option that appears.
This native support by the os, should be easy to implement.
In fact, some existing applications already support this feature without upgrading. I am curious why GoodNotes does not automatically support it when reading PDF files.

Lines switch for blank page
I like using the blank page for my note taking as it allows me the freedom of note taking style. However, when I start writing paragraphs I end up with slanted, is there any chance you add a toggle switch that allows the user to toggle lines on the page temporary and switch them off when done, so we can have straight paragraphs please. Thanks! I seriously can’t live without GoodNotes!

Fortschritt Lernkarten Zwischenspeichern und anzeigen
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn beim durchgehen der Lernkarten auch der Fortschritt angezeigt und gespeichert wird, wenn nicht alle Karten durchgegangen werden, oder zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt weiter gelernt wird. Außerdem wäre es toll, wenn man den Fortschritt separat abrufen könnte.

add new pages to the left and right of the notes
When I read, the large amount of text on the page made it inconvenient for me to add annotations and notes, especially when I needed to quote passages from other works and had no space. Adding blank pages at the bottom of the page makes turning pages difficult and text cannot be joined.
If a new feature could be added to add blank pages to the left and right of the page, capped at two pages, that would work even better and I would not want to use another notes app.4 votes -
Continuous writing
I suggest to add a continous writing turn off/on button in a writing mode. Because when i use it, sometimes i don’t use that continuous writing mode. But now it is able to go features tab and turn off it. So it is useful to add switch on that writing mode
