Save Batch Presets
If your like me, you want things a certain way. In my line of work, I have different pen colors for work, but I also want to use a different batch of colors on my planner. Same thing goes for my text boxes, I use different types of fonts on each document. Different documents that I use daily require their own set of tools and formats. I would like to be able to label my different presets under a folder or tab in the interface. I use this app for both work and pleasure daily.

Audio recording function not working well when I set tool position on the bottom
I prefer setting tool position on the bottom because it reduces moving distance of my hands. (I'm using apple pencil 1 gen.) In this case, UI for recording shows below the icon so that I can't see what's going on, and it shows on top of tool bar.

More pens
More textures for pens. Like pencil textures etc. Also, to be able to post templates or stickers for others to use. You could even pay users for designs and others get the designs if they but premium.

Resize images to exact dimensions
It appears that we're STILL waiting for this feature.
It would be helpful to everyone to be able to resize images to exact sizes whether it be my pixel, inches, cm, etc. At the very least we should be able to add images at their original size. When I pull images into my Goodnotes notebook, even if they are the exact same size, come in at all sorts of sizes then I have to resize them manually. This is a big pain and a bigger time waster.
Please fix this. We've been asking for it for years.

Search Within a Specific Folder
Loving the app so far but one thing I've noticed is it can be difficult to find what I am searching for due to the fact that the search covers all notes stored. It would be great to be able to search within a specific folder like we are able to do on our computers' file explorer (finder on Mac).

Donations
I'd like to see a donation option in settings or somewhere. I love this app, my life is this app (I wish I were being melodramatic). With that love comes fear, fear that this app will turn into a subscription model as it becomes more robust. I wouldn't mind donating what I can-when I can. I've purchased items from the shop in the iOS version, but I don't see another way offer my support. Finally, if there is a way to hide the tool bar on all versions it would make a big difference for people with small screens.

Different Coloured Pages , More options for the Pens.
Colouring Pages , More options for the Pens.
GN5 latest version is FAB, but these are the major changes i am looking into. I have been using since an year and recommended to all my friends , and most of them purchased it. It's an easy going app.
Colouring Pages with whichever colour we want from the colours - like we do for the pens
Usage: Different coloured page books for different works , for precise work and few notes need to be written in particular colour . Yellow Pages & Red Pen is one of the oldest and sacred way of writing auspicious things (Positive Affirmations).Increase the variety of pens , as i say this - there's no much change in all the 3 pens which we are using currently in GN5. But if you look into Apple notes , there are variety of pencils with transparent levels.
Usage : More the pens , more the writings which can in turn change the way we write - eg: the fountain pen which is there in GN5 is not as much as it should be .
While going Paperless - pen should go to the expectations.When we insert a photo , It would be great if we can alter the transparency of that photo
Usage:Can be used as a watermark, depending on the photo - we can choose till what level we can show the photo transparency and make it as water mark or write on that like in Blogs.Not sure , is it possible or not - if there's an insertion of tables where we can alter columns and rows like in Google sheets , can help a lot in timetables and also to customised to do list.
Can we link apple calender with to latest " the universal daily planner" , i recently purchased this "the universal daily planner ". if we link both - the combo can create miracles .
i can get notifications accordingly to daily planner from Apple Calender.
Note: Very much happy with the current GN5 version , but as a matter of Competition & Upgrading - I personally feel these changes make it next level.
I would continue with GN even these changes aren't going to come :p.Thanks a ton for making things easy with GoodNotes.

Underline text directly from the context menu
Currently, when long pressing selected text, we have the option to highlight it or strikethrough it. I use those options frequently, but i miss the possibility to just underline the selected text

Hi, it would be great if you could add the feature to customise colours for text too! Also to be able to change parts of the text block and not the whole block!

Extend Zoom in and out
I would like it so that when I zoom in, the space on the outside of the page is large enough that I can zoom into the place I want to write and it would be positioned on the right side of the page. Currently, if I zoom onto the left side of the page, I would have to reach my right hand over to write on the left side.

Scribble function on Apple Pencil (handwrite to text) autocorrecting capital letters
Using the Apple Pencil Scribble function to convert handwritten words to typed text in realtime works very well, but it automatically converts capital letters (particularly the first letter of a word that is meant to be capitalized) to lowercase letters. For example, writing “Energy” with a capital E changes the word to “energy” with lowercase e. It also underlines the autocorrected word in blue. Tapping or selecting the word underlined in blue gives no option to change it back to the intended capitalization. This does not happen in any default Apple app. I’ve contacted Apple support about this, and I was told to contact the developer of the app for a fix. Proposed fix: either stop autocorrecting intended capitalized words or have an option to tap on blue underlined words to change the word back to the original quickly and easily. It’s very frustrating because I have to go back to change the capitalization through keyboard so many times whenever I’m writing notes.

community templates - similar to Figma
Figma or Miro makes it quick to get started, rather than making your own structure from the scratch.
Part of it can be figured out by Goodnotes team such as todos or calendars, maybe more for the power users such as SCAMPER or customer journey. The rest of it can be left upto the community to be figured out on their own.It is essential for the Templates to be accessible in-app. Search and download. Having favorite templates marked down for quick access in every category, maybe have some AI magic in place to change the color theme real quick.

Improve using GoodNotes on Mac.
I want to be able to use GoodNotes to read PDFs on my Mac. However, it isn't easy to highlight when reading a PDF. Notability has an option where you can hold the selected sentence, and it will highlight it for you. I would love for an option like this to be added to GoodNotes. In addition, selecting texts in PDFs is challenging.

create a template for auto conversion to flash card
It would be great if there could be a template (like Cornell style) where you can put the term of the flashcard on the left, and the corresponding definition on the right. Then, this could be automatically converted into the flash card template. I love the flashcard template but copying and pasting each individual definition is quite tedious, and I think an automated conversion could be created to help with this. This would be especially useful for people who make hundreds of flashcards per subject to study.

Add option to add scanned pictures and edit pictures when taken
When taking photo, add the option to edit it at the time you took it and not after you press “use photo”.
Also, make it possible to scan pictures just like you can do on phone,
Add resize it not only in square shape.

我用的是iPad版本的，当从其他网站导入good notes时的PDF就真的是PDF，一点没有适配我的iPad屏幕，不像其他软件例如 noteablity，或者Reader，从其他网页导入它们app时字体又大，宽距可以适应，直接就可以上手编辑了。我很喜欢用Good notes，可以让我一次性直接导入而不是用其他app吗？

Option to change the toolbar colour
Currently, the toolbar remains purple, which can be distracting when everything else is white. It'd be good to be able to customise that colour to white or black or something more neutral or subtle, or even colour code the tool bar based on notebooks (like theme colour). its all about choices... and the purple right now shouldnt be the only option

Match PDF size to current page
When you import a PDF, the page size often doesn't match with the rest of the document like Notability does. It'd be great to at least have an option to match the page size so a vertical scrollimg document looks like it fits in.

4th color on tab
Please add a 4th and 5th color option on the tab! It's a hassle to change colors every time.

More features to do with the flashcards
Add more features to test flashcards- like quizlet have, e.g: multiple choice answers, write in the answer, match the questions to the answers...etc.
