Annotated Pages Menu
GoodNotes should implement a feature to filter out only pages with annotation, side by side with the outlines menu.
This would be much more convenient when reviewing large documents and e-textbooks.2 votes -
Proper written text formatting
Dear GoodNotes team, please improve the formatting of written text so that it is placed correctly on a page (e.g. like in Notion or Microsoft Word). I crave for such an improvement, as it would be the solution to the only problem I have with GoodNotes!

Move around pages using left and right arrows on keyboard
I use goodnotes as my main PDF viewer, however whenever I want to navigate a Math book it is really long and tidious because there are hundreds of pages, and scrolling when there are no chapters to the PDF is really long and frustrating.
That's why I suggest changing pages using left and arrow keys on keyboard as a fix to this.
I think this is a reasonable solution as it should not be too hard to implement. Thank you.

Create a type of page or note which lets users type without having to select the typing tool.
Sometimes, I would like to type in good notes. I dislike the text box function because it is so annoying to use. I have to expand the boxes to a certain size in order to not have my words hitting the bottom of the page every time I use the function. Instead I would love to see a separate type of page or note which lets you type instantly without having to use the function, as seen in apple notes. Please consider!

Hello there. I would love if good notes allowed me to save my quick notes as untitled or untitled (1) instead of choosing a name for it. I always make small notes very quickly between lessons. It’s difficult to name every note I create.

More than 1,000 sheets of paper are usually used to make a book. You guys are saving the earth.There is a function I want to request.
1. I have only checked the revised pages using the bookmark function. However, it is very uncomfortable because the bookmark button disappears from the work screen. Please mark the bookmark button again on the work screen.
Or can I customize the buttons to be displayed on the work screen?

Typing on the desktop/Mac version needs improvement
Some improvements need to be made to the Mac version of GoodNotes 5. The biggest aspect that needs improvement is the text/typing function. It would be amazing if the app had a processor similar to MS Word or Google Docs. Even at the basic level- having the ability to choose between a text box vs no text box (so having page parameters), automatically typing to the next line, being able to type on the lines of a page template without having to adjust the text box. Quite frankly, I do not use the Mac version as much as I would like to and due to these restrictions I must use other platforms when using my laptop. Hopefully I will be able to use only one platform (GoodNotes) on all devices.

Permanent read only files. Text books for example.
Beeing able to leave certain files locked in read only mode while having others in editing mode would be a nice adition to the app. For example when I have both a textbook and a writing page opened I would like to scroll with my pencil on the textbook and write normally on the page, without having to turn on and off the edit mode.

Oder, für mehrere Benutzer entsprechende Passagen Passwort schützen. Für diesen Preis sollte es möglich sein. Des weiteren vermisse ich noch eine Terminierungsfunktion. Dies ist gerade für die Zusammenarbeit mit mehreren Personen sehr wichtig, um Folgeabläufe steuern zu können. Ein direktes umwandeln von Handschriften in Maschinenschrift wäre auch noch sehr von Vorteil. Leider reagiert hier der Support nicht!

For this price, it should be possible. Furthermore, I still miss a scheduling function. This is very important for the collaboration with several people, to be able to control follow-up processes. A direct conversion of handwriting into typewriting would also be very advantageous. password for restricted editing pdfs but not the whole pdf
For small businesses, it is important to keep your intellectual properties to yourself.
We spend countless hours creating spreads, and I want to restrict some parts of it so that the spreads cannot be manipulated but users can still write on the pdf and add pages. Sort of like flattening the spreads as a background image with links instead of shapes that can be extracted.
However, when i restrict editing with a password in adobe reader, I have to type in the password before I can open the document in goodnotes. Is it possible to import the pdfs as a background image with links?For small businesses, it is important to keep your intellectual properties to yourself.
