[New languages] Nepali
Could you please add nepali language. I would like to type in nepali with my bluetooth keyboard and write in nepali language with my pencil in my iPAD.
Currently in my Mac, I use romanized unicode nepali font (kalimati) which allows me to change my language input to NEPALI and let me type in nepali. I would like to do same in my iPAD with goodnotes.
Thanking you in advance

Faster and more Accurate Highlighter
As of today, Goodnotes offers two ways of highlighting. One can either select the text manually, and click on 'Highlight' or use the Highlighter tool with a stylus/finger and freehand it.
I propose a method that is highly common and immensely popular with other simple pdf editing apps. Clicking on a Highlighter tool, which then enables the user to drag across text to highlight precisely. Clicking on a word with the tool engaged highlights only the word; dragging across words highlights the words, sentences, paragraphs, etc. The difference between freestyle/freehand method and this is that this tool enables one to selectively highlight only text faster and accurately without all the stroke-related messes that freehand highlighting causes.
It's a relatively simple feature to implement from a developer point of view. Simply utilise the text layer of the PDF to find and highlight text that is passed over by a finger/stylus.

Ability to write with Apple Pencil in “Comments” instead of typing
it’s a great function especially when you are running out Of space on ur page.
I have a suggestion, here we are typing to add notes. Wouldn’t it be nice if we were just allowed to write on the black dialog box that opens up, straight with our apple pencils? As most of us will be using our Apple Pencil to take notes.5 votes -
Enable drag sidebar to scroll.
Current scroll mechanics has no acceleration, pretty painful skimming long notes (ie. > 20 pages).
Enable drag sidebar to scroll will be great.10 votes -

More colors in the taskbar
I use several colors regularly and I must select the one that does not appear in the bar. If there were 4 colors and even five you could have them available more quickly. Others handwriting apps have quite a few colors available on the taskbar so you don't waste time choosing. In the figure I have put six colors and it does not look bad.

Roman numerals & Unnumbered Pages
The book I am studying has Roman numerals (I-II-III) at the beginning. Then, Arabic numerals would start (1-2-3). What’s frustrating is when I want to search for Arabic numeral page “14” in GoodNotes, it’ll take me to Arabic numeral page “2” instead.
I attached a photo.
Adding the option to renumber pages to Roman numerals would help this make page searching that much easier. Adding the option to unnumbered pages would help too! Sometimes I add regular notebook page in-between the other pages in order to write my own detailed notes.
I attached a mock-up of how the thumbnails tab would look like with this feature. I hope it gets implemented!!
P.S. unnumbered could be blank without any numbers/text under them.

Move "Go To Page"
In the "More" (i.e. ...) section, we can see the current page number and it would be practical to have "Go To Page" just below. I also wish to suggest adding some space, perhaps a section title, and group together "Clear Page" and "Move Page to Trash". I very frequently use "Go To Page" and always have to be careful to be precise so I don't accidentally press "Clear Page".

Editing hyperlinks
We should have the option to create/edit hyperlinks within Goodnotes. Pages get added and moved around and mess up the hyperlinks and we need the ability to fix them so the hyperlinks in our notebook or journal are still usable.

Mass changing of font
I would love to be able to lasso a bunch of text boxes and change the font on all to the same font. Ie Lasso all text boxes and change font to Arial.

Too much RAM usage
GoodNotes takes several gigabytes (sometimes more than 10 gigs) of RAM on my computer for just 5 documents. These are not fancy documents, just one note with 17 pages, one grayscale textbook PDF around 400 pages, and 3 more notes with about 5 pages each. This definitely should be fixed. This happens when the GoodNotes is running for several days, and seems like GoodNotes will never release acquired RAM, which is something any programmer should have learned in his/her Introduction to Programing course. Chrome, which is famous for its RAM consumption, "only" (I used the word loosely, comparing to GoodNotes with 5 pages opened using 11 gigs) uses 12 gigs with about 45 opened tabs.

radical
Please add the square root symbol (aka the radical) to the recognized shapes so when you draw one freehand it snaps to the correct shape. It can be difficult drawing one without the top part getting squiggly. (tags: math, algebra, calculus, statistics, science, engineering, shapes)

Highlighter Curve Toggle (Straight Lines Only)
Please add a toggle to highlighter to disable converting drawn lines to rounded curves (Not to toggle shapes in general, just, like, boomerang shapes).
I use GoodNotes for all my text book reading, annotating, and long text and drawing heavy physics homework assignments. My hand isn't the most steady and one of my biggest frustrations when using the highlighter with "Draw in Straight Line" toggle activated is when an actual ~1/3 of all my highlighted lines turn into swoopy curves instead of straight lines; which I then need to undo and redraw at least one more time instead of continuing reading. I love this app and this is something that frustrates me all the time. Thanks for your consideration.
