Adding Videos into your notes
I would like to have the ability to add videos or GIFs to my pages. I imagine it to work like adding images. I would be an awesome addition to digital note taking.

Convert handwritten notes to text in real time.
Please I want the feature of converting handwritten notes to text in real time because nowadays First I have to copy the text and then paste it and then erase the handwritten notes. It is a complicated process ,So please add a feature which convert handwritten notes directly into text and only showing text.
I need this because I have to make my notes clean and it would be also easy for me to read by notes when it is written in text.12 votes -
Lefthanders - simple but gamechanging feature
When we left-handed people (and i guess it’s the same problem for right-handed people at the right side of the page) write on goodnotes , we cannot rest the left hand on the screen of the ipad while writing when beginning a sentence, because the paper cannot be moved around. So our hand is always partly on the edge of the ipad partly on the table.
So if it was possible to pull and push the paper around on the ipad as we want, we could calmly rest our left hand on the screen when writing. To understand what i mean please look at the photos!!!
I really love to work with goodnotes and hope that you pick up this idea (because, frankly said, always hanging at the edge of the ipad while writing drives my inner honk a little crazy). so i hope you find the idea as valuable as I and probably as many many other left handed users. (also it‘s probably easier to integrate into the program than many other cool ideas, so let’s go for this one😉)

2 page scrolling view
It would be great if something like a 2 page scrollling view could be added so that when we scroll through PDF version of our notes, especially exported slides, a better overview of the set of notes could be seen. This is in comparision to what we have now, where we scroll through the document page by page. Going through each set of notes might take quite some time when there are many pages in a document.

Opening A New Tab
When inside a notebook, it would be great to be able to open another notebook/document in a new tab (not a new window), without having to hit the back button and go back to the main list of folders/notebooks/etc

Addition of iOS Scrollbar (drag and move scroll bar to a specific location)
GoodNotes still does not have implemented this great feature that apple introduced with iOS 13. Everywhere I can press long on the scrollbar and just slide it wherever I want. So I can reach the last page of a long book pretty fast. In GoodNotes I still need to scroll page by page until I am at the last page. This is pretty annoying. Even Notability has this feature implemented.
You can see three photos attached, one while using Goodnotes (no thick scrollbar), one while using Notability (thick scrollbar) and one while using Safari (thick scrollbar). Please implement this!

Automatically transcribe audio recordings and choose whether or not to copy parts of the transcribed text into our notes
I work with both audio and text. For example, when I have a lecture recording, I listen to it but I also prefer to write it down because it makes it easier for me to go back to the information. I'm not able to write down everything because it's a lot to manage but I still get tired of doing it manually. I wish I had a tool that would transcribe the audio for me and I can just copy & paste the parts that I want into my notes. I'm thinking of how Youtube automatically adds subtitles to videos and users can access the entire transcript at once if they choose to.
I'd like to upload audio recordings to GoodNotes, choose an option to automatically transcribe them, and just copy & paste the parts that I need. This would be a good resource that can really speed up my process when I'm preparing materials to study.I work with both audio and text. long text box scrolls to next page
Sometimes I copy text from Evernote into GoodNotes, but it's too long to fit on one page. Instead of continuing onto the next page, it disappears beneath it. Please make text boxes capable of spanning multiple pages.

Add notification to study flashcards
When I complete flashcards, it says there is a time I should come back to review it again. Would be nice to have a notification to remind me on the day.

Having to import raster images is a pain - and for some reason even lower res images can make a page become laggy.

Make Goodnotes Flashcards good enough to Replace ANKI!
Would really appreciate if the flashcard feature becomes much more versatile like anki.
A few suggestions are
1. Show number of Flashcard left for the day
2. Integrate several files to form one Flashcard deck without hampering their current progress
3. SETTING A NEW CARD LIMIT PER DAY
4. Customising which cards I would like to see first.Basically a lot of anki inspired stuff that could help us replace anki cards with handwritten goodnotes cards. Thanks a lot!
