Reminders and calendar support (Apple EventKit)
I would love to use a Goodnotes' planner, but there is one obstacle in the way for me, since reminders and events in those planners are not recognised by operating system.
I would love to have the option to sync those event/reminder information within Calendar and Reminders apps. So when I plan something (maybe within a special text field) into my planner, the event/reminder would be mirrored in those apps.It would be even greater if it could go the other way as well - for the Reminders app: check in Reminders app = checks in Goodnotes but I am…

Attach GoodNotes document to email
When replying to an e-mail, it's useful to be able to attach a document from GoodNotes. This is different from exporting a GoodNotes document by e-mail from inside GoodNotes, which creates a new e-mail.
A possible workflow could be: receive an e-mail with a PDF attachment to review -> export the PDF to GoodNotes for signature / annotating -> reply to the e-mail and attach the annotated PDF.
Currently, it's possible to use Mail.app and GoodNotes in split screen, and drag a GoodNotes document to an e-mail reply. However, that seems to be restricted to Mail.app. Other mail apps don't…

Create own PDF outlines and embed sections
I'd really like a way to set up Outlines for our notebooks so that each section has its own subsection. The subsection would be linked altogether (e.g., Chapter 1 is one, Chapter 2 is another, etc.)
That way, we could more easily drag and drop to reorder things in our notebook instead of having to tediously do each slide one-by-one!

Show current path in tree when moving files
When I move files the top most view of my folder structure is displayed, on whichever sublevel my file currently is saved. It would be helpful to open all folders in the current path so it is easier to see where exactly the file is currently saved as well as to save it on a folder higher in the current tree.

Sorting by Last Modified
Currently, documents and notebooks are sorted by the time they were last modified, and folders are sorted by creation date. If possible, we should split these categories. Users should be able to sort by "last modified," which should include the last time contents within a folder were modified and also by date, which is by the date created. This way, it's consistent for all items Good Notes.

Auto-Add Next Page
When text is added on one page, Goodnotes could automatically add another page below the current one, so we don't need to pull to add page as we go. Although the pull feature works, it would be nicer if this was done automatically so the user can continually write without breaking up their flow to add a page. The last blank page could be excluded from page exports as well.

extend-option for external display
It would be great that you can extend your display with an external monitor, besides the already existing mirroring option. So that you can view good notes documents, while working on another on the ipad.
(great for the smaller ipads)

endless paper to annotate lecture slides
I love GN5, however, I can't use it as much as I would like to since for my classes I annotate the PDF lecture slides and need more space than the PDF slide themselves. Therefore, I have to use OneNote which allows me to insert a printout of the PDF and I can write on both the slides and have notes specific to the slide on the side. I would love to be able to have this in GN since GN5 has so many more features I prefer to OneNote.

It would be great if we could hide the menu bar while writing. Similarly to how it hides when the writing mode is off.

Flashcard improvements
The following improvements would be great :)
- A display at the query when the flashcard will be queried again under the classification "Good" "Hard" "Easy" ( depending on the classified learning level for example: Hard= will be asked in two days, good= in four days)
- Display how many flashcards are requested
- Display how many flashcards have been queried
- Display at the end how well the individual flashcards were answered23 votes -
You can transcribe what you underline in a document
In addition to being transcribed into an editable document, you can add short text, forming notes with what you underline and what you add. You can see the document in a preview. Later, you can edit, convert to pdf and share the new document.
