Suggestion: REMOVE tape on PDF exports!
I love the tape feature, but it’s annoying that the PDF backups of my goodnotes files on google drive have tape on them. It’s useful if it’s in the app, but it’s not for backups. Goodnotes, please fix this! Give us an option to remove tape on backups and exports.

Ability to Mass Import and Edit Elements/Stickers
The options for organizing, editing, and adding elements/stickers are very limited and are missing several basic functions of any file organization system. When editing collections, I think it would make more sense to stay in the element overview UI, instead of popping out a smaller window with the same sticker inside. Options for editing should include a “select multiple” option, so that instead of each sticker having a circle button for quick deletion, you can select multiple first and then choose to mass delete, create new collection, move to new collection (which is not an option either), change the order of the stickers within a collection, etc. The inability to move stickers between collections is also frustrating.
Adding the option for mass adding elements to your collection directly from the page could be adjusted as well. Right now, when selecting multiple elements with the lasso tool, if you tap “add element” the entire group of elements gets added as one grouped element as if it were one unit. The lasso tool already has a selection option to turn your selection into a group, so I think that when you select multiple elements with the lasso and then immediately add to an element collection, they should by default add as individual separate elements, and to add the entire group as a single element, you need to group the elements first and then hit “add element”.
This would be very helpful especially since many sticker sellers sell their elements via “sticker book” goodnotes files.

Mass Edit/Selection Option for Textboxes
As of now, if I want to edit the style of multiple textboxes (such as the box border color/width and background), I can only edit the color of the text when using the lasso tool and then selecting “style”. I like to use textboxes to make color coded labels, but without the ability to mass edit, I have to change the color of the textbox manually before saving to elements. Adding textbox edit options in the “style” option would be helpful, and adding the ability to save my own textbox presets would be nice as well.

I'm a big user of goodnotes, I've been taking notes with him since 4 years ago, it's a very good software to use, as you know, apple recently released ipad air 6 (13inch), I bought him and upgraded goodnotes 6 on this new ipad.
I realized that from my previous device using goodnotes 5 there was no heating condition.
But after about 20 minutes of writing on top of the new ipad, my ipad has been heating up really bad.
I had to stop and let the ipad cool down a bit before I could continue writing. I hope the techs can resolve this heating issue that may be due to compatibility!Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

better autodetect writing
Once I´m done writing with Apple Pencil several paragraphs it takes several clicks (select, convert, etc) to make it text, it would be awesome if I can do it like many other apps just immediately just finish a sentence, double click on it and it will make it text

Importing multiple images
When adding an image (in the same way of adding another page in a notebook), can we add MULTIPLE images, and add them in the order that we select them?
Below is a photo of where I am talking about when trying to add multiple photos. I had to add each photo one by one. Thank you

CODE FIRST BEFORE DELETION OF GOODNOTES ACCOUNT
Goodnotes 6 should be able to add a feature wherein a request for authentication code is sent first before deletion of account. Sometimes people “misclick” the delete button account which made other devices log out of the account. It is a hassle for everyone 😫

Add Comment tab next to Mini Viewer
It is very hard to find comments in your old documents. Basically if you want to resolve a comment later you have to bookmark the page aswell. It would be great if a comment tab was added somewhere, where you could have an overview over all comments. (Similar to the attached picture in Adobe Acrobat). Another suggestion would be to simply add it in addition to bookmarks, such that pages that are commented are clearly visible (see other pic)
In general if you would work on these features, the work together option for notes would be much improved aswell.2 votes -
Import mp3 file
It would be nice to import mp3 audio files directly to notes. Take for example, a voice memo recorded onto the default app, it would be nice if I could import it to a Goodnotes note. The notes being synced would be neat, but that is not as important.

windows app NEEDS to run as its own app.
Fix windows app and make it run NOT through edge. There is no reason that IOS should have so many more features and run so much smoother, even on older, less powerful hardware. It makes the experience TERRIBLE and is honestly unacceptable for a paid app in 2025. Disappointed that I already paid for a year of this laggy crap.

Kegel exercise can treat ED?
Yes, Kegel exercises can be helpful in treating certain types of erectile dysfunction (ED). These exercises strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which support key functions in the lower body, including circulation and muscle control. When these muscles are weak, they may contribute to challenges with maintaining firmness. Strengthening them through regular Kegel exercises can improve blood flow and help with better physical response. visit at mavavilla.com for more info.
To do Kegel exercises, locate the pelvic muscles by stopping the flow of urine midstream—those are the muscles you need to target. Tighten them for a few seconds, then relax. Repeat this several times, a few times a day. With consistency, many people notice improvement within a few weeks.
Kegel exercises are safe, easy to do, and require no special equipment. They can be done discreetly almost anywhere. For best results, combine them with healthy lifestyle choices like regular exercise, a balanced diet, and stress management.

Partial space taken up above
The part of the list of open documents takes up too much space.
Basically, the top part wastes more space than necessary.
It would be nice to be able to adjust the width of the top bar part to be shorter in the settings.[The sentence may be strange because of the use of a translator].

Cursor for washi tape
Include a line or cursor (upside down T) so users can line washi tape up with paper line or other lines. In the current state, the user has to guess to align washi tape, delete, and try again, or apply the washi tape, lasso it, and then move it. It will be easier to include a cursor so washi tape can be applied straight the first time.

Make page centering an option in settings instead of mandatory.
Automatic page centering is visually pleasing, yes. However, page centering (meaning you are unable to zoom anywhere you want to (for example, having 70% space and 30% page on your screen)) is very impractical. It means you have to move your arm and wrist around to the very left of your device and then to the very right when writing full pages. This is not only very tedious and strenuous on muscles, but it is also genuinely very annoying to deal with.
Make page centering or realignment an option, there's a reason why most, if not all, drawing programs don't have that as a feature.

Same folder in more than one place
In folder A there is a document on the brain
In folder B I can also access and see the same document on the brain
This way I don't have to move it from the original folder (A) but I can add it to other folders that are relevant to the topic.1 vote -
Is the Android version of the app fully developed now?
Hello,
I have a Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2022 and I'm currently using Samsung Notes for my school notes, but I miss a reliable way to measure and draw lines of specific angles and lengths, as well as a tool to draw circkes of a specific radius. I've seen some other students use GoodNotes on iPads and they seem to have a ruler (I'm not sure for the "circle with radius" thing but I think they also have that).
Also, Samsung Notes does really bad at supporting portrait orientation, which I saw from the iPad users should be usable even on a per-page basis in GodNotes.
Does anyone here have experience if the Android version is missing any features of the iPad Solitaired version and if yes, which?
I also need to be able to use the button on my S Pen (non-pro version,no battery) to erase things.

Permanent Side Notes
I would love it if we would be able to have notes on the side of our pages for easier annotating. Whenever I upload a PDF of some sort, I find it difficult to keep all my annotations spaced out on the page, especially with uploaded textbook pages where there is a lot of text and very small margins. Being able to add images and diagrams to the side for note taking would also be great, as sometimes I want to see it as a reference but don't actually want it on my page. The sticky note feature doesn't suit well as the sticky notes aren't large enough sometimes and still cover portions of the page when they're open. I would love it if these would also be permanent, so we can reference back to them when re-opening the annotated pages.

Palm Rejection BIG Issue with 3rd Party Stylus
Dear Goodnotes Team,
I’ve been experiencing persistent issues with palm rejection while using a 3rd party stylus on Goodnotes, and I wanted to bring this to your attention.
While writing with my palm resting on the screen, unintended actions frequently occur — the floating menu (cut, copy, paste, etc.) often pops up, and in some cases, it even selects underlying text or content where my palm touches. This leads to the stroke I was making getting disrupted or vanishing altogether.
This not only causes missing portions in my writing but also severely hampers the flow and accuracy of note-taking, which is quite frustrating — especially during fast writing or lectures.
It would be extremely helpful if the app could:
Improve palm rejection sensitivity for 3rd party styluses.
Prevent the floating menu from interfering with or overriding stroke input.
Ensure that even if the floating menu appears, ongoing strokes are preserved and not lost.
Please refer to the attached videos for more clarity.I appreciate your work on making Goodnotes such a powerful tool, and I hope this issue can be resolved in an upcoming update.
Best regards,
Dr, GursimranDear Goodnotes Team,
