Zoom out further than page size
Allow users to zoom out further than the page size to quickly scroll through the content, and write on the edges of pages by centering the edge on the tablet.

GoodNotes 5 v 6
I paid for GoodNotes 5 as well as the interim GoodNotes 5 upgrade. My app was upgraded to GoodNotes 6 during iOS App Store updates. Now I’m being forced to purchase a GoodNotes 6 subscription with a nag screen even though I’m running version 5. I suggest that you leave us happy version 5 people alone, stop holding our data ransom and avoid a class action lawsuit suit.

Ability to create flashcards directly from notebook
I currently create notes when working (in a notebook) and then go on to create flashcards for a topic - rather than creating flashcards directly from study material.
I use different software for flashcards but would reconsider if there was an easier (or more obvious way) to create flashcards from a notebook i.e. circle to select some text and add it to a flashcard the same way I can screenshot it

sync with windows
i have a windows pc 2-1 so i sometimes write my note on it and i really want to sync with my ipad or my iphone, it’s really annoying to not even be able to access on the notes i took on my pc from my iphone or ipad

Disable Presentation mode
dont force the presentation mode on connection to external screen, or at least allow to turn it off. It’s a common use case to use iPad for writing while watching a video on external screen, which is blocked by your presentation

Hello, I'm a user of GoodNotes 6 and I have a few suggestions and issues I'd like to share:Highlighter Layering
When I write something and then use the highlighter on top, the highlighter covers the text, making it look very blurry. I would really appreciate it if the highlighter could automatically go behind the text by default.Search Function
GoodNotes allows searching handwritten text within a note, which is great. However, it doesn't support searching content within uploaded images. It would be much more powerful if the search function could also recognize and include text within images.Split Screen Feature
Currently, GoodNotes doesn't offer a native split-screen feature within the app. So when I want to view multiple notes at once, I have to use the iPad's native split screen. However, that only allows limited ratios like 50:50 or 70:30, which is inconvenient. It would be really helpful to have an in-app split-screen feature with adjustable ratios.Tape and Eraser Interaction
I think many users might be facing this issue. When I use tape and then write something on top of it, if I later use the eraser, both the tape and the writing are erased. It would be very useful to have a setting in the eraser tool that allows us to erase only the writing without removing the tape.Tape Expansion Access

제가 문의할 내용 몇가지를 말씀드리겠습니다.
1. 형광펜(하이라이터)
글씨를 쓰고 하이라이터를 위에 사용하면 글자 위에 하이라이터가 올라가서 글자가 정말뿌옇게 보입니다. 하이라이터를 사용할 때 기본적으로 글자 뒤로 가게 되었으면 좋겠습니다.검색기능입니다. 굿노트는 노트 내에서 검색을 할 수 있는 기능이 있는데 이 기능은 펜으로 쓴 "글자"만 되기 때문에 노트 내에 업로드한 이미지에서는 쓸 수 없습니다. 이미지속 내용도 검색 가능했으면 좋겠습니다.
화면 분할입니다. 굿노트 내에서 화면 분할 기능이 없어 여러가지 노트를 한 화면에서 보고 싶을 떼 아이패드에서 제공하는 기본 화면 분할 기능만 사용할 수 있습니다. 하지만 아이패드 기본 화면 분할 기능은 5:5 또는 7:3 정도의 화면분할만 가능하기 때문에 조금 불편합니다. 굿노트 내에서 화면 분할 기능을 추가하여 자유로운 비율로 여러 노트를 볼 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다.
테이프와 지우개 기능입니다. 현재 많은 사용자가 불편을 겪고 있을 것 같단 생각이 드는 문제점입니다. 테이프를 사용하고 테이프 위에 쓴 글자를 삭제하기 위해 지우개를 사용하면 테이프와 글자가 모두 지워져서 불편합니다. 지우개 설정 내에서 테이프가 안지워 질 수 있는 기능을 추가해주셨으면 합니다.
테이프 열림 기능입니다. 테이프는 테이프나 펜을 선택했을 때만 열고 닫을 수 있습니다. 이는 다른 도구를 사용할 때 굉장히 불편하며 효율성이 떨어지게 합니다.

I would love to work with Goodnotes in visionOS.
I would love to see Goodnotes running natively on visionOS. Right now, I'm using the macOS version with an XP-Pen tablet by mirroring macOS within visionOS, but a native app with support for the Apple Pencil or similar tablets would be ideal!

Two Pages view

Currently, to view two pages side-by-side, I need to enter split mode, which requires multiple steps: pressing the split mode button, selecting GoodNotes again, and reopening the file. While this works, it can be inconvenient, especially for frequent use.
I’d love to suggest a two-page view that automatically activates when the device is placed horizontally (landscape orientation) without needing additional steps or split mode. This adjustment would allow for a seamless experience and enhance productivity.

On April 4, 2025, a bug about drawing.
Above the inserted image, draw "lines, circles, polygons, etc.", click to select "lines, circles, polygons, etc." again, the selected "lines, circles, polygons, etc." will disappear and cannot be selected again. Only after exiting and re-entering will they reappear.

Moving the page from the middle
I like to write notes with my pen, BUT I also keep the floating keyboard up as well so I can flit between the two as needed. Currently, whatever zoom amount you view the page, the page is anchored to the middle of the screen. It would be nice to be able to move my page to the side so that I can have my keyboard open without it covering my page. I’ll attach a screenshot of my current view. I’d like to be able to move my page to the left so I can see the whole thing without the keyboard in the way.

Graph Overlay
It would be helpful to have a graph overlay where you can add a transparent graph to help you write in a straight line. It can also be used to adjust your notes the way that you want to help with keeping items straight or aligned.
