Highlight specific recording when playing it.
When there are many recordings available if you select one to play you have to go back and find the specific one so I would like for the specific recording that is being played to be highlighted so you can know which one is which when you want to select it.

Highlight text from a document and transfer it to a new one
Students across the world use GoodNotes. They use it for reading and making notes. Some of those books and notes are so big that it seems impossible to read them again and again to memorise. It is helpful if we make notes out of it. Thet is the standard approach. But it is tedious and time consuming to do so.
Wouldn’t it be easier to just select the text that you’re reading and paste it to a new document to make an entirely separate notebook with all the selected text. That way it would be faster to make notes and the resulting notes would be easier to read (given the smalller size of it) and remember. Please consider developing this feature goodnotes team. This would help me easily identify key points while reviewing my notes. At the end, I should be able to revert all my markings to keep the original text intact."

Please provide more than one pen tool feature
I take notes with diff colour and diff size of pen so every time,I have to select size and colour if you provide more than one pen feature then it is easy to choose pen which is customised on my preference of size and colour. After that i have to choose only pen instead of choosing size and colour every time like notability. Please add that feature.

More options for learning study stets
Study sets are great and i love this feature very much but i think some additional improvements will make it extremely useful and great.
For example how much I remember the cards, if there is multiple option as in Anki such as easy, good, hard & again rather than know it or not will improve smart learn and add filter cards queue, some cards i forget it at all while others i just forget a little bit of it so the only two option make them equal.Although if there is an option for backward of cards as I accidentally pass or option for editing card in when learning as sometimes we miss or write wrong things it will be very helpful.
Another thing is text cards, if there is an option for highlighting some texts it will improve the functionality of text cards.

You should be able to add your file and let the app generate flashcards for you instead of manually doing it yourself
Instead of manually making flashcards, we should be able to upload our file and let it generate flash cards for us, it will be less time consuming. Also give different quiz options like filling in the blanks, multiple choice questions, and just writing out the answer

allow users to change the fonts in type mode and allow them to change font size. now you can only to it with the type box but not type mode which is annoying.

I want to be able to erase using the ruler
The ruler is used with the pen tool to write straight lines. I need it to also work with the eraser tool to erase straight lines. I am creating a drawing with sharp edges and the eraser simply passes through the ruler.

Tab bar rethinking - Hiding option for disctraction free workflow
In the past you blended out the tab bar if there is only ONE notebook open. this was good because it did not distract me as I was writing.
Could you please reactivate that? Or better bring an option where the tab bar can be hidden. Like a button or something?2 votes -

Coloured Tabs
Coloured Tabs would be great.
I have many goodnotes files open, many for different subjects. If I could colour the tabs, I could more easily distinguish betweens subjects and more quickly find the subject I am looking for.
For example: my thermodynamics folder is red. Notes to my thermodynamics lecture could corresponed to a red tab by default. Homework for thermodynamics, that are also in the red thermodynamics folder, could also have their tab colour switched from red to pink (similar colour, different purpose).14 votes -
