I am writing to you trying to support the development of your app. I’m a pretty big fan of GoodNotes 5 as I have been of GoodNotes 4. Multiple pages all on ohne page
Sehr geehrtes GoodNotes-Team,
Erstmal ein Riesen großes Dankeschön- mir als Medizinstudentin erleichtert Ihre App auf meinem IpadPro 12.9 (Version 2020) wirklich das Leben !
Eine ganz große Bitte habe ich allerdings an Sie. Es wäre wirklich sehr sehr viel effizienter und übersichtlicher für mich als Nutzerin, wenn es möglich wäre PDF-Dateien so zu importieren, dass mehrere Seiten auf einer Seite zu sehen sind. Wenn ich alles nur als eine Seite in GoodNotes importiere ist das sehr schnell sehr unübersichtlich und außerdem weniger praktisch bezüglich der Zeichentools!
Leider muss ich derzeit jede Vorlesung erst auf meinem Computer mit dem Print-to-PDF-Tool vorbereiten,…1 vote -

Bug: Switching Color In Text Typing Mode
It doesn't always let me switch color when typing. If I switch to a different color in text mode, it always switches back to the previous color I used. Please fix this!!!

Background Colors of PDF for Eye Health
Changing the color to green or yellow, will make pdf reading more friendly to eyes.
Many people using goodnotes to read pdfs will stare at the screen for a long time, but now the white color is a bit harsh and tire eyes.
Another app PDF Expert is just well-known for its protecting yellow color. Hope goodnotes will add the function.

Read & Write Comment
Please add the feature to Read and write a comments on imported PDF documents. Allow this feature in general as not everything can be written in a single page and this feature will allow to put little details on a small box which only opens when clicked. This is also great for productivity.

Streamlines actions
Having to crop, then click screenshot, then click export, and then click copy just to copy images of a pdf or other items is time consuming.
A more direct to the point action of being able to copy once in the crop box would be better instead of 4 actions to do one thing

change line of handwriting afterwards (not only color)
If you realize that you want your handwriting in another line thickness you have no option changing it after you already wrote it. You can change the color but not the line.

users should be able to customize the page number
The BOOK of PDF version has cover and table of contents, which will lead to the inconsistency between the page number displayed in the software in the bottom right corner and the page number in the book catalog, which will cause great inconvenience to turn the book, so there should be the function of custom page number to customize the first page

Search function in Trash Bin - this used to be available in v4 but disappeared in v5
Could you please add a search function into the trash area so we can search trashed notebooks - we search using job numbers so this would be very handy in this area as well.

AutoCAD shx text big black frames problem
In imported PDF drawings generated in autoCAD standard SHX type text is surrounded by a thick black frame, destroying the appearance of the drawing.

Convert the whole handwritten notebook with the press of a button!
Simple: instead of just having the lasso that you have to painstakingly use to circle handwriting, convert each page to text, and then export to another program to edit, why not...
...have a button that instantly converts the entire handwritten document into text, ready to edit/export?6 votes -

zoom out function
A way where one could zoom out of the pages, so you could see all of your pages in that file. Like in Word/Pages.

Simple Shape Mode
Could we have a mode that defaults to simple shapes for the shape tool? My handwriting is terrible... but if I draw something that remotely looks like a rectangle, I want it to be a rectangle, not some other weird shape.
So maybe only allow circles, squares, rectangles, triangles? Something along these lines...

Fixing Option for Text Box, Not to Move While Editing
It's really annoying that text boxes move along my hand when I just wanna edit some contents.
It would be nice to be able to fix each text boxes, not to move while dragging, editing or sth.
e.g. when pressing a text box, option for 'fix' and 'unfix' could be possible.
((sorry, i'm not good at english.))

Functionality improvements
Add more functional adjusting tool, not only from bottom corner but from 4 sides.
Also recommend to improve Shape tool, maybe have straights line by holding stroke for a second, like Notabilty.
Last but not list, when selecting a rectangle, one of the needed options is filling color, not only when drawing a new one.Hopefully this will be read and enhanced

change the mouse cursor when the highligher is activated. When the highlighter is yellow, i can barely see it on the screen. Please change it to something more noticeable.
