Colour grab
When you use a colour from the colour wheel you can save it as default. However, if you completely shut the app down these saved defaults are gone and it becomes so difficult to find the exact colour again. Can you make it so that either the new saved default colours remain even after shutting the app down or make a tool so that you can ‘grab’ any colour from the document and use it as a pen or highlighter colour.

List view of open tabs + the ability to reorganize
I think it would be very useful to have the ability to see and reorganize the list of open tabs. This way, when I have 20+ tabs open and I’m viewing the last document but also need to access the first tab I don’t need to swipe all the way to the first tab but can pull open the list view and click directly two the desired tab. If I find that I need to consistently switch between the two, I can reorganize the tabs and place them right next to each other.

Add linking function to shapes and images
It’s very frustrating that as I work with my self made planner that there is no way to add additional links to other pages within goodnotes. Some people may even like to be able to link to websites.
I think it’s far too long overdue so I hope you start adding this feature soon. It would be nice to add a link tool to an added image , click on it and link it to another page.8 votes -
presentation mode when sharing ipad via cable on zoom
I love the presentation mode options when I share my iPad via airplay. Unfortunately, airplay in unreliable during zoom calls and I need to share my iPad via cable. But then, the presentation mode options are not available anymore, with all the downsides: people can see me zooming, my toolbar, the slides appear from the right, so I can't add have nice transitions for bullet points, etc.

Needs Huge improvements
As most of users are from science stream...please give option for symbols that are used in biology,physics,chemistry and mathematics. Kindly give a feature of voice recording at any point during note taking. Kindly give feature of insertion of sheets , tables made in other apps. Kindly give a feature of voice to text so lengthy typing time is saved. Thank u. Looking forward for your support in next version team goodnotes

Need favourites form pencil, highlighter, and text
Need favourites form for pencil, highlighter and text.
I usually use Good note 5 for Studying, and I feel it is not comfortable to using.
If you make a form that I can set up my favourites pencil especially a typeof pencil and colour and what ever, It would be very useful for people. Also the Text function has problem. when i want to change the font, it is very inconvenience. Because you even didn't have "recently use".
I really like Good note5. But some functions are really improved.8 votes -

Add custom keyboard shortcuts
I would like to be able to select tools using the keyboard but in a more advanced way. At the moment we can only select for example the pen or the eraser, it will be interesting to be able to select for example the predefined colors of the pen thanks to keyboard shortcuts.

Inserting multiple photos as new pages at a single instance.
When I am inserting photos as a new page, I can only insert one photo at a time and could not insert more than one at a single instance.
It saves lot of time for the users in case they want to insert screenshots of lessons they are going through online.

google slides and google docs compatibility
In all other versions of Goodnotes I could import a google doc or google slide directly. Please bring this back. Almost all teachers need this functionality and it will turn us away from the app. I am really disappointed that after updating the app version this functionality has been lost.

Left-handed option for lasso resize
It is very awkward for left-handed people to resize lasso-ed items by dragging the lower left corner. Would be great if the delete and resize buttons (in opposite corners) could be reversed for lefties!

Bring back beginning/ending points for fountain pen
The new update (Version 5.4.22) made some tweaks to the beginning/ending points for the ink of fountain pen. It is now much less pressure-sensitive and comes out just like the ball pen. Please bring back the previous version as it writes more like fountain pen. Or at least give us more options for having pen tips or not.

Sign-in iCloud from Goodnotes app to sync personal and work devices.
For the users who have their Goodnotes app on their personal devices and use Mac at work, it would be great to give them the option of signing in our personal iCloud account on the Mac from Goodnotes (instead of using the system iCloud account, which belongs to the company).
I could sign in Appstore with my personal Apple ID and download Goodnotes for free on my company Mac but I cant use it since it doesnt sync with my own iCloud account.

增加绘图预设、页码导航、文本输入格式设置、个性化编辑模版功能
使用GoodNotes记笔记半年多，其书写的流畅度是出类拔萃的，只是还有些许功能需要改进，在此提出我的建议，希望开发者可以认真考虑：
1、绘图功能有待完善。GoodNotes采用手写识别的绘图方式，这种方式绘图确实较为自由，但是失之精确。我在画一些物理示意图时经常涉及到圆、矩形、坐标系等图像，用手写识别的方式绘制相当费劲，建议增加一些相关图像的预设，可以直接拖入图像调整参数，方便精确绘制。（可以参考微软Office系列插入图像的操作逻辑）
2、目录导航功能有待完善。现在的Goodnotes目录没有页码输入的功能，想找几百页的东西只能老老实实往后划，较为费力，建议增加页码跳转的功能。
3、文本输入格式有待完善。文本输入时只能设置一些基本格式，另一些对排版具有较大影响的格式如字间距、行间距等并没有办法设置。建议增加文本框的设置内容已满足基本的排版需要。
4、模板预设有待完善。Goodnotes提供了相当丰富的背景模版，很大程度上满足了我的需要，但是我想要使用一些个性化的背景模版时需要自己进行绘制，这有一定的技术门槛。建议增加“智能模版”，即可以在现有模版的基础上进行个性化的设置，比如改变格线的数量、间距、分栏等等，方便用户自行设计合适的模板。8 votes -
Undo for deleting pages
Add deleting pages to the undo stack so that clicking undo right after deleting a page or pages, will bring them back.
