Arrange objects
We need the option of sending back a diagram or bring text to the front, because when drafting and stuff, its a bit disappointing having to erase or re-do stuff in order for it to fit hierarchy when working

Show the notes size/format when adding a new page
I'm usually working with different formats (A4, A5, GN Standard etc.) when creating notes. It always depends on the pdf I'm currently working in, because of their different slide sizes.
A little icon or indicator in the "add a new page" menu for each last used template (A4, A5 etc.) would make it much more comfortable selecting the right template.

Elements in zoomed-in screen area, not center of note page.
Hi. I LOVE the addition of elements to Goodnotes. This has increased my user experience ten fold!
One Request: I often am zoomed way in when I'm taking notes, so I have a larger screen surface and more notes on a page. It would be helpful if when adding a saved element to a page, the element is placed where you are zoomed in, versus in the center of the page. Or, have the ability to use the lasso tool to circle an area, and add the element to that area.

Foldable pages
Being able to fold a part of a page or a full page, akin to toggle list in notion. That would be immensely useful.

„indefinite“ / bigger worksheet / page surface
Please consider to add a huge sheet as an option (bigger than A0). That would be great (like OneNote has it) .A really big sheet (with lines or squares) where you can brainsorm and load pictures and other pdf in it. if you add a pdf the sheet will get bigger.
This would also be great for students who have a big script and want to add note to the side of the document insead of adding new pages3 votes -
improvements i’d like to see in good notes
- audio recordings that sync to the handwriting (fundamental)
- the possibility to use light or dark mode independently from the system
- have only one color palette for both pens and highlighters
- the dropper tool to add colors to the palette
- edit / personalise toolbar with the possibility to hide features that we don’t use often in a little “+” sign where we can find all of them that one time we need to (this would be AWESOME)

Page template: plain text for code
Right now text is entered through boxes. This makes sense for regular note taking, but I think programmers would benefit from having a page type that aligns all the text to the page as plain text files do, and have this page extend vertically for at least a hundred lines.
Allow for drawings and normal text editing, just have this page be friendlier to coding students and programming notes (also have a monospaced font as default for these).
A huge bonus would be numbered lines and/or switching to a comment text color through a shortcut (e.g. pressing "/" twice if…

Add popup note function
I need to read lots of PDF documents for my work. However every page of PDF document is always occupied by tons of words and almost no empty space for making handwriting note because it needs lots of space.
I switch to GoodNotes from GoodReader, and I really need this function, if what I described is not clear enough, please check the screenshot I upload.

Export Page with flattened PDF & converted text in Body of an email.
The ability to have a function under Export page that not only exports the PDF but also the converted text in the body of an email would be great.
The Remarkable 2 implements an element of this in one step and also Notes Plus implements this quite well.
I take copious notes in all my meetings but then send to my PA to action highlighted actions straight after each meeting.
It’s cumbersome in Good Notes currently, you have all the functionality ... just needs pulling together in one step.

VERTICAL INSTANTANEOUS PAGE SWITCHER

Mark as doubt
The option to "favourite" a page can do this, but it would be much better if there was an option to mark a page as a "doubt". Or select a certain area and mark that as a "doubt". Also, if possible, a small caption option should also be there with the doubt and you could see all doubts in one place like the way we can see favourites. This would be very helpful when we get a doubt while revising and have to wait to ask somebody for clarification

Customize (toggle different) views of Thumbnails (3x3, or 6x6, etc.)
I'm a teacher and I use Goodnotes for marking many assessments seeing as we are largely remote nowadays, it would be nice to change the number of pages we see in each row (even if that means making the icons smaller). For example, in a test that was four pages long, I can bookmark the start of each new student's test and it lines up nicely, but if I am marking anything other than a four page test, it doesn't - if possible, it would be great to pick and choose how many pages are seen per row (like a…

Being able to copy text from imported PDFs!
Currently, I import all my journal articles into goodnotes to review, but I also make a summary powerpoint slide of each one. As I cannot copy and paste text i.e. long titles and author names, I now use the pdf, read and edit as needed in pdf form to make it easier, then import it really just for storage

Copy Option
After "objects" was added, when using the lasso tool the "copy" option was moved to the second page of choosable options. As this is my most used option, it would be nice to have it back on page 1 of the option window. It's annoying to have to do one click more to get to second page every time.

Option to minimize and maximize the elements
Hi Goodnotes! I want to suggest that the sticky notes (elements) will have an option to be minimized and maximized so we can have the choice of hiding it and showing it. It would be nice since I like to write key points but the newly added elements block the text. Thanks!

Create our own sizes for sheets/files
It would be amazing to have access to more size options, not just the predetermined like A5, letter or GoodNotes size that comes with the app.
With these:
- If someone like to print the notes, this could be helpful to adjust everything.
- This would solve a size problem to LATAM (with "Oficio size").
- If someone wants to print and waste the less amount of paper, we can personalized the size to the half of the measurement.
