Typing experience new features
The typing experience in general needs to be better, it needs to be closer to Word. We have to be able to choose the size of the fonts, the margins of the page, the interline space, etc…
The pointed list need to be better, now it can’t change the number if we want to and it starts back to 1.
If we’re able to better the typing feature to be more consistent and interchangeable with the pen writing, it would be an almost perfect app. As in now I need to switch to Word for some important features that I…2 votes -
Flashcards: both way questioning
It would be really usefull for language learners to be able to use the flashcards in both ways. That means that we could change the settings and get questioned by the answers.
Example: I have a flashcard. As a question i put in „How are you?“ and as an answer I put in „Wie geht es dir?“ (German). Now I could use it the regular way and i see the english side first and have to find the german out and then there could be the second way (the idea) where i change the setting and see the german sentence…2 votes -
3 typing things to fix
Please allow text that reaches the end of the page to automatically transfer over to the next instead of manually transferring it. the manual transfer doesn't work well for me in the first place, but instead is just annoying for me.
Please also make it easier for bullet pointed lists to have easier subsections/indentations. For example, in google docs I can easily create new indentations by doing "cmd ]" or "cmd [" for the bullet point, open bullet point, etc. this would be LIFE changing for me as a student. Use the ask Goodnotes feature to actually study
The ask Goodnotes feature has so much potential but is so limited in his uses right now. Multiple studies show that infos hold longer to memory when you tried to retrieve them. That is the case even if you didn’t know the answer at the time of the question. If we could use the Ask feature to create multiple questions on our document it could be so beneficial. Right now the fact that you cannot chose a segment on which creating questions or ask the app to create more is a shame.

Continue recording in background
Currently, if you’re recording in one window and want to open another document, you can’t without stopping the recording or without having the windows open before you start recording.
Options for this:
1. Add a quick note switcher or something like that so that you can easily open another document as a new tab.
2. Allow the ability to open a new window of the app. Currently if you try to open a new window, it’ll automatically switch to the note that is actively recording.Use case: recording a lecture in your lecture notes and opening a textbook or another…

Saving pen color presets for specific notebook!
Being able to have colors that are saved per notebook would make it a lot easier and clearer what topic you’re noting. For example, if I use red in English but change the preset to green in Science, it would make sense that those colors stayed in their own presets in each notebook.

Improved Highlight Visibility in Search Feature
When using the search (find) feature, the highlighted text appears in a soft yellow color, making it hard to spot, especially if I’ve already highlighted other text.
Please allow users to choose the highlight color in the search feature. The current dull yellow is difficult to see, and I’d prefer bold colors for better and faster visibility.”

Option to ‘Pin’ Notebook / Folder / Other to the top of the list.
There are certain items that are used frequently but which get lost in a long list of items (e.g., new file template). It would be great to be able to pin this to the top, or in a sidebar, so that one never has to scroll to find it.

Add audio on written text.
When we write something an audio tape would be really helpful. It works like the tape function but an audio is played when tapped. It will really benefit language learners as they can add the pronunciation on it and listen to it back.

Toggle tape while using highlighter and eraser
Currently when you are highlighting or using the eraser , the tapes can not be toggled to be transparent and back again. You have to select the pen or tape tool to do that. It would be way easier if you could also toggle the tape on and off while using the highlighter and the eraser .please see if that could be done. Thanks.

I wish the document view sidebar was just always closed
I wish the sidebar when looking at your documents, when using the iPad, could be permanently closed & only open when I decide to hit the icon. It’s really annoying when I open my app & this sidebar is taking up a quarter of my app, all my files shift when I close it.
Don’t get me wrong it’ll stay closed for a while, but if I don’t use the app for a little bit & go back in, the sidebar is open again. This isn’t the worst thing, but when it does happen, it’s a neusance.2 votes -
Shortcut
Since latest update to iOS (17.6.1) I’ve lost the ability to create a shortcut to open a specific notebook/document.
Please fix this!

Zwei Seiten nebeneinander darstellen
Blättern wie in einem analogen Notizbuch, im Querformat können dann zwei Seiten nebeneinander dargestellt werden, so dass deer Übergang zwischen zwei Seiten intuitiver gestaltet wird.
