Use OpenAI API (ChatGPT) with Goodnotes AI feature
A feature that would allow users to use their own OpenAI API (ChatGPT) to interact with their notes could be helpful. GoodNotes has been rolling out the Goodnotes AI feature, but the FAQ says that you can't increase the usage quota (which is set to 30 messages). The issue with this is I consume 30 messages limit within a few hours 🙁, so I have to ultimately switch apps back and forth (GoodNotes and ChatGPT).

Lasso to perfect handwriting
The AI lasso tool is used to spellcheck any words you may have misspelled, but what if it could improve your handwriting. I’ve found that as I write, there are a lot of inconsistencies in my handwriting. If you could add a baseline for each character (number/letters) and lasso over any words to improve the quality of handwriting that would be so cool.

Structure
When I switch from the document editor to the view of the structure, I would like to see at once the line in the structure which is equal to the page in the document, which I am about to edit.
In the mini-page-view this works already. In the structure view of the document, I miss it.1 vote -
Need for more, better document editing tools
I think many people here agree the app does most of what you’d expect from it, but not everything.
In my opinion, one of the biggest drawbacks is the lack of precise, accurate document editing tools… im saying, for example:
- Rotation and resizing; lemme expand. First of all, make them separate. i dont want to change the size of something accidentally when resizing it, or vice versa. moreover, the option to do so its very tedious to reach, everytime, as it means lassoing everything, holding, clicking resize. its not practical, and the option to not change line thickness but…1 vote -
Shift screen
I want to be able to shift a document beyond the paper’s edge. I’m not always writing at a desk, so I’ll have no hand support when I get to the edge of a page. If I could shift the page’s border towards the center of the screen, I could use the iPad as a hand brace and better utilize the whole page.

Exporting issue
ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED !!!!

Enable Hover Capability in Zoom Box
The hover feature is a distinguishing feature of Apple Pencil 2 & Pro. It’s great that Goodnotes utilizes hover within the main writing space — BUT, when using the zoom box option, hover disappears. Hover is a necessity for me, making the zoom box a non-option as of right now.

hi, i'm from brasil, and i have an android, I think would be nice if you guys put the option for wrinting with the keyboard, not the text box, because i can't make the words parallel with the dotted lines, and i would also like a larger dotted line option. thanks, keep the good work! kkkkkkkk

Download with original document name
I filed the documents very well classified (1;1.1;1.2 etc.) by downloading to keep a copy in my laptop, the file changes name with a name style: asdfl93kfh124fsdaf.
Please update (very simple to implement).

If you transfer your written text into normal text the text still should be like your standard still

Paste and link
When I write my notes, I want to select for example a written action item and paste it with a link to the original note in my to-do list. When I then work from my to-do list, I want to simply click on the action item to take me back to the note and page where it originated.

Backwards letter/number detection
It would be great if the spell check feature could be expanded to identify when letters or numbers are written backwards. This would be very helpful for kids and students, especially those with dyslexia.

when you check off a task, it moves to the bottom of the list as completed. Also, you can drag tasks around to put in order

allocated disk space
I would be happy to purchase more allocated disk space! I use Goodnotes for my planner and I can't delete anything. I would pay $100 a year for satisfactory disk space.

Separate paid for app on apple Store

I work for a school IT Department, and an Issue I have is we use Apple School Manager to manage all of our Ipads that the teachers use, the issue we face is all of them love good notes and have collectively agreed that goodnotes 6 is the way forward, but I have at the moment had to say no as MDM software at this time does not allow you to make in-app purchases, Which is why I have come here to suggest that you make a separate paid for goodnotes app that comes with the full version of…
