  1. text box

    GoodNotes on MacOS needs changes to the Text box.

    It runs off the edge of the page. So if I am typing the words go right to the edge then the text will run to the next line. No margin at all. This means when I start to type in a text box and type more than one line, I then need to move the text box to the left so I can then resize it to move it back to the right. This is pretty inconvenient. Should be a way to leave a margin on the page.

  3. add scrolling margin

    Now it is hard to write near the edge of the page while zooming in.
    For example, writing on the right edge of the page with the right-hand needs your hand to float.
    For another example, using the lasso tool, once the pencil detected released near the edge of the screen, the selection region will be confirmed.

    Adding a scrolling "margin" would be the best solution; allow scroll outside the page.

  4. Make avaliable fo Android

    Hi, I'm a student from Brazil, and unfortunately I don't have an Apple iPad or mac, so please, make it available for android. I have a Samsung s20 FE and I really wish I could use GoodNotes. My favorite function is the handwriting recognizer. I am waiting for good news. Thank you.

    Can you please work with notion and make your apps work together so i can use goodnotes in notion on my pc and my ipad. there is no app that works with windows and ios that you can writting notes in and organize everything.

  6. Fix graphics in size when rotating

    I always use goodnotes in math class. If I use a ruler as an image and then want to rotate it, the scale changes. this is very bad for a ruler. it would be a very good improvement of goodnotes if i could fix graphics so that the scaling no longer changes when you rotate them.

  7. create folders for shared documents

    Hello GoodNotes Team,

    I'm a teacher and we are currently testing tablet-classes (iPads). I asked my student to create a GoodNotes document for my lessons and share it with my, for me to view their notes. Now comes my suggestion, could you add a function to create folder in which shared-documents can be sorted/moved? That way I could sort them by class/subject, which would make it clearly arranged and much easier to find a specific shared-document.

    It would improve content visibility and visual hierarchy. Unfortunately, there currently is no easy and quick workaround.

  9. Unblurry Flashcards & Classify each Flashcard & Summary of Learning

    The flashcards are blurry in learning modus. Thus, when you have written a little bit more on the cards, you are not able to read it anymore.

    Further, it would be nice to have the possibility to classify each flashcard (with a little menu on the right hand side of each flash card). Then you could add for example all vocabularies and assign them to each chapter. When you enter the learning modus, you could tick the chapters which you want to learn.

    In the end, a little summary of your learning would be nice. (How many ended at which…

  11. Handwriting on M2 iPad not working

    Could you please try handwriting on GoodNotes with the iPad M2, it is really strange and writes small lines at the end of each letter if you write fast. I believe that it is due to the pencil hoover feature, since this is implemented correctly on the apple app “notes” where the writing seems fine. Thanks

  13. Additional Line Snapping Directions/Angles

    Goodnotes has available in its pop-up store: "Hexagonal Grid: Draft Papers" which features a hexagonal grid. However, because line snapping only works at 45° angles, there is no useful line snapping for this grid, which makes is somewhat useless as a template. It would be great (and I imagine very easy to implement) if there was a toggle in settings to access 30° line snapping.

  14. Flashcards template!

    To be able to have a deck of flash cards as an option when creating new files. Would be great for studying ! keeping everything localized on goodnotes is optimal and removes the need of users to relocate to other sites/apps

  19. Pull to add NEW page rather than duplicate last page

    Pull to Add Page is a great feature. However, in my case it seems to always duplicate the last page in the document. But that doesn't seem to make sense. For example, why - if I have marked up an image in GoodNotes, - would I want to duplicate it? Then I just have another page that is the same as the one before it.

    So I find myself constantly pulling to add page, and then having to delete the newly created (duplicate) page, and then I have to go up to the dropdown menu and choose the template. It…

  20. Curve

    Please make some updates in the app. I as a medical student need to draw a lot of diagrams in my notes, especially with curves. Whenever I try to make any curved diagram it's automatically turned into edgy one. So please consider this improvement.
