Vocabulary Toggle
You should add a feature that enables people to add a definition to words they highlight. When reading over your notes, you can then tap on that highlighted word and the definition will pop up.

Enlarged Slides on Document Overview
Suggestion: Make the slide sizes bigger and empty spaces in between smaller.
Why: The overview of documents is supposed to give a clear overview for users,
yet the small slide sizes and big empty spaces counter this purpose and make it extremely difficult to read and scroll through documents in an efficient manner.3 votes -

Document Sharing through Google Drive
I use Google Drive to view my docs on GoodNotes through other devices, to save the my iCloud storage space for other things.
I would appreciate an extension of the Collaborate Feature on Goodnotes to extend to Sharing a link through Google Drive as well, not just iCloud, if it is feasible.
Thank you for the amazing app! I love having one location for all my notes on different subjects!

Different types of paper for cornell notes
I love using cornell notes, but since the paper is ruled, if i type something in, I have to constantly adjust spacing or text size so that the text is not obscured by the lines. I’ve been drawing out my own cornell notes on blank paper but it’d be so much easier to have a template already in place to do that.
Other options like grid or dotted paper would be nice to so that it’s easier to draw graphs.
In the pictures, one photo shows cornell notes on dotted paper (it makes it easier to draw straight lines. On the other photo are cornell notes on blank paper. The last photo shows cornell notes on the generic template and how typing becomes obscured by the ruled lines.

Category shortcut
I just need “categories” shortcut button as in Goodnotes 4. This is THE MOST convenient thing that this app MUST HAVE. Many people have a lot of files and folders. We just want to reach to the file we want to use instantly when it pops in our head without tapping “back and back, and back, and back” over and over just to reach the main “Documents” page first. That’s why the Goodnotes 4 has advantage over Goodnotes 5.

PDF-Export: Overwrite existing files (instead of „Copy of Copy of Copy…“)
Continually exporting my notes into pdf result in endless filenames, if the file already exists: „Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of filename.pdf“.
To prevent this, a checkbox „overwrite, if file exists“ in the pdf-export-options would be very helpful.

zoom window tool on mac
I would love to have the zoom window tool on the mac version of the application. I use the ipad version and the zoom window tool really helps me take notes but sometimes I need to use the mac for certain note taking situations in the classroom. This would greatly improve my ability to take notes in any circumstance. Thanks.

Jump between marks
Often when reading scientific literature, one has to quickly jump between certain pages (eg text and appendix or literature). A great way to improve the workflow in this condition would be the option to quickly jump between marks, for example by including little arrows left and right of the mark button. One could mark the appendix site and afterwards, when reading through the text, mark the current side, jump with the right arrow to the appendix, and then jump back to the current side using the left arrow.

Improvements to PDF, colour organization, disable highlighter layering
Hello Goodnotes team! First of all, I would like to say that I love using your app. Ever since I started studying on an Ipad with goodnotes my productivity improve 100%. I love how clean and intuitive the software is. I also really like the cloud integration. This is where my first feature request comes from as well. Actually, I believe it is more of a bug. On some of the pdfs of my notes which are auto uploaded to google drive, the highlighter doesn't display properly. Instead, it looks like a series of triangles. Another request I have is an ability to organize colours by groups or colour schemes. I like to create a pallete for each notebook to make everything look more consistent. However, after using the app for a long time I have added a lot of colours to my presets and the palletes get lost. My last request, which I belive is quite a popular one, is to add a toggle for highlighter layering. I use the highlighter tool to color things in and it can sometimes be fairly difficult to do it without lifting the pen once.
Thank you for hearing me out!

Add an ability to add a little area to the sides of the page so we can maybe write more notes or draw according to the slides we're on

Top/bottom shortcuts
Just like it's possible to scroll all the way up/down by tapping once at the top/bottom of the screen, it'd be handy to have the ability to do the same thing on any notebook.

Single page view for Mac
I love being able to create notes on my iPad, but review them on my iMac desktop. Just like in Preview.app for the Mac, I would like to be able to select a single page view, two page view, continuous scroll view, etc. I'd like the window to just show one page at a time as I resize the window. Thanks!

Use of Mardown to format texts
It would be really nice to be able to use/write/paste text that uses the Markdown format as it becomes the norm in most of the other apps. It would make it easier to import/copy text and have it rendered nicely.

LIFO Page order
As A user of goodnotes 5, I would like to have the newest Page shown at The front of The Page list so that my most recent notes are The first seen. When I need to add A new Page I would like to do that with a pull to the right. Because I care about my follow goodnotes-5 users, I would like to have Page order be selectable as Newest at Front or Newest at Back. Thank you for your consideration of the feature request.

Tap Shortcuts--Optional
PLEASEEEEEEEE make the 'Two finger tap, Three finger tap' undo/redo an option for users, I am constantly undoing/redoing things on accident just by writing. It is SO FRUSTRATING because I have been using the actual 'undo' button in the toolbar for years and am so used to reaching for it. all of the recent updates are GREAT, except that you don't have the option to 'opt-out' for certain changes.
