LED Night Navigation Light
I had occasion to enter the marina channel after dark, I used my familiarity with the channel plus chart plotter track and radar to safely traverse the narrow channel into the marina. This has probable happen 4 or 5 times before over 40 years of boating.
I’m thinking of adding a LED light capable of lighting up say 50’ of the area ahead for safer navigation.
Has anyone done this ? I’ve checked out lights but not sure what size and wattage would work. The top of the pilothouse or radar mast would be the easiest for installation.

Im Moment kann ein Post-IT/ gelber Zettel im Dokument zwar angezeigt und „beschriftet“ werden, aber dieser Text lässt sich nicht zusammen verschieben, sollte man sich doch entschieden haben diese Notiz auf der Seite anders zu platzieren.

Instagram followers
So on my instagram I try to post every few days but sometimes I go 1 or 2 weeks without posting because I'm often too busy with other stuff to draw and not everything I do make I feel like is good enough to put on the internet. when I do post on instagram I'll get 3 or 4 followers but then after a few days of not posting most if not all of them will unfollow me. this happens every time I get new followers and I've only experienced this on instagram. so what gives, is instagram a place…

add new pages to the left and right of the notes
When I read, the large amount of text on the page made it inconvenient for me to add annotations and notes, especially when I needed to quote passages from other works and had no space. Adding blank pages at the bottom of the page makes turning pages difficult and text cannot be joined.
If a new feature could be added to add blank pages to the left and right of the page, capped at two pages, that would work even better and I would not want to use another note taking app.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Add Pen Selection to Zoom Bar
It would be helpful to add (duplicate) the pen tools to the Zoom bar and provide the ability to have some preset favorites. This would increase efficiency and user experience when using the Zoom function.

Virtual window for displaying cutouts of a notebook in others as a reference
As an engineering student, I often find myself shuffling through old notes to find a quick summary of a topic or a concept that I use in other problems. This becomes quite tedious, as I tend to copy-paste what I wrote into the new notebook where I reference this note. I think that it would be nice to work in a virtual window that shows a cutout of the older notebook which has the notes that are relevant written down, and i can resize said window to fit in the newer notebook. Native Attachments
I would like the native attachment retained so that an attachment dragged onto a GoodNotes page can be dragged off and back to original. I currently see a transformation that prevents the drag off. This improvement would increase the versatility of GoodNotes.

“Stabler” pen or pencil
Hey, disabledish person here! I have very mild dystonia which makes my arms tense. Writing on paper is more painful than on my iPad. I have very mild OCD & my handwriting is very unstable. I can’t handle writing a letter without redoing it at least once. I hope that a better pen is released before the next school year starts. Thank you for even reading this!

Turn off autocapitalisation in textbox
I’m aware GoodNotes was not designed for a text-to-speech app, but I really need it to have the ability to read text out loud during my studies. You already have OCR recognition and the iOS already contains spoken content functionality with a speech controller, so I think it just lands itself to enable it in GoodNotes too, right? It would really be so helpful if I didn’t have to use 10 different applications during my study sessions, if most small things could be done from GoodNotes that would truly be awesome. Turn off autocapitalisations in textbox
Auto-capitalisation works well in general but within GoodNotes it doesn’t, because every time the enter is pressed, it capitalises the next word. However, pressing the enter doesn’t mean new line here, because the text box is a layered feature, pasted on top of things, it’s not necessarily a margin to margin left to right typing tool. As a result, I’m now having to disable it because it is very annoying in the text box, simply because there is no feature or settings available to do that in GoodNotes text box.

Different shapes for eraser not just circle
Sometimes it would be helpful to have a rectangle or triangle or just a line as shape for erasing. Or at least the circle size be adjustable more than it is now.

i was given an old laptop over the weekend and was told if i can get it working i could have it. i am typing on it now - however...
the two usb ports don't work, this isn't software related - drivers etc, but a hardware issue.
basically this laptop was a childs play thing for a year or so and all the ports and stuff you need to plug into it in order to function…

Network connections on macOS when app not running
I have GoodNotes 5 installed on my M1 MacBook Air, but rarely have it running. I see network connection attempts in Little Snitch made from the app all the time, including after booting and before I've opened GoodNotes for the session. I've also tried killing all related processes, but the connections still attempt to spawn.
Is there a reason for this persistent leakage of telemetry when the application is dormant?
