  1. Paper sizes

    Can we please add more paper sizes such as A4, B4, and JIS B5?

    I'm a university student who uses B5 sized paper for my notes and I would like to print my GoodNotes pages out onto my regular B5 paper.

  2. Add a slider for changing the eraser size

    I think there should be more variety allowed when it comes to the eraser size. We shouldn't only have 3 sizes to choose from. I would prefer a slider, like that of the pen and highlighter tools, which allows us to get more specific sizes.

  4. Project Management & MindMapping tools

    Integrate mindmapping functionality that also integrates with calendar and project management tools, at least at some basic level.

  5. New function lasso tool

    I would suggest another function for the lasso tool which makes it possible to chance the font size of the selected handwritten text without enlarging the whole text.

  6. Gallery to share PDF templates created

    Hi GoodNotes Team,

    I think that on your website or blog (possibly even within the app) you should feature an area where users can share and download pdf templates they have designed to be used on the app. For example weekly planner templates, grocery list templates, to do lists, etc.

    As a side note, a partnership with someone like Canva could be really beneficial for your business in something like this. I love using them to create PDF templates for your app!

  7. Quick scrolling as in other pdf viewers.

    I really miss the feature that many other pdf viewers (and browsers, eg safari) have, where one presses and holds the scrolling button to move it up/down to a desired page.

    Add an option in order to have multiple “font options” to select from.
    For instance like in Pages [see picture].

  9. Outline and bookmarks to appear as a side menu

    In the iPad version, bookmarks and the outline appear as a pop-up, but it would be more convenient if they could appear as a side menu, the same way they appear in the MacOS version.

    This would enhance navigation in the iPad version as we can then keep the bookmark/outline bar open to quickly move to different sections of a file, and then close the side-menu when not needed.

  10. Adjust line spacing by typing the value in rather than using the adjustment bar

    It's difficult to adjust the line spacing with the scroll bar because my finger isn't accurate enough so I would like to be able to adjust it by putting the line spacing value in. Thanks

  11. Import calendar events into a note

    It would be great to be able to import a calendar event into a note like OneNote can. It would save time having to write that info down as well as be a good search tool.

  12. Change the text size easy

    Now in the app, when I need to change the text size, I only can use my finger to drop the icon, but this method cannot let me set the text in same size at each time.
    Whether can design a input window to input the text size directly?

  13. go to folder from notes or folder

    If you open a note or a folder from your favorites when you close the note or folder it goes back to your favorites. Can you make it so it goes to the folder that the note or folder was in?

  14. Backing up to iCloud Drive

    It would be AMAZING if it were possible to auto backup to iCloud Drive just like it's possible to backup to Google Drive or Dropbox. There are so many people who this would help, and it would make it so much easier to store and organize files on a Mac, or even just on an iPad.

  15. Redesign the UI, it needs a refresh + few needed features

    Hello,
    In my opinion the UI needs a refresh, it takes too much space on the screen when taking notes, we should have the option to hides things we don't use, thus clearing the menu bar for things we actually need, for example If I use a pen and marker only, I do not need to see the magnifier, shapes, text,laser icons, and also we need more than 3 pen\marker sizes & colors. to up the productivity for people who have to take fast notes (engineering), and want to save time with 1 quick click do it rather than do…

  16. Farbige Ordner und Notizbücher, bzw. Registerkarten

    Ich hätte gerne die Möglichkeit, Ordner für eine bessere Übersichtlichkeit einzufärben. Und auch die einzelnen Registerkarten würde ich gerne einfärben können, um schneller etwas zu finden.

  17. Add gridline function in any notebooks or imported PDF

    Sometimes I want to write sentences straight on a blank area from an imported PDF. However, most of the time, my handwriting won’t be straight if sentences are long.

    If implement a gridline function in which the user can click a button on the toolbar and show gridlines on the files. It can let the user write straight handwriting sentences on any place of the PDF easily and neatly.

  18. "Mark as read" option for texts in GoodNotes

    It would be very helpful if there was a "mark as read" option in GoodNotes, especially when you have a lot of texts to be read so you can see at a glance which ones you have read and which ones are still to be read. Currently, I am using the "tick emoji" in the document name which is an alternative but being able to actually tick off documents and mark them as read would be so helpful!

  19. Additional functions to expand the use of pictures

    It would be nice to add the ability to flip photos (rather than just rotate) and move photos forward or backward.

  20. multi-level outlines

    Es wäre schön wenn man die Gliederung in den Notizen und Notizbüchern untergliedern kann. Quasi eine Überschrift für eine Seiten und Unterüberschriften für die nächsten Seiten erstellen kann.
