I want finger gesture operations
I want to be able to operate by using "apple pencil" and "finger" different function. When using "pen" with apple pencil, range selection (or eraser) with one finger, "undo" with two finger tap etc. I think this app gets more operability that will be improved, I hope you will improve the tool! Thank you!

create the ability to 'flatten' text, images, etc
Having the ability to flatten would create a document that I could continue to write over but then do an "erase all" but not erase the flattened part.
I am a math teacher and sometime I write down a problem that I would like to keep to show to the next class or use next year. I would like the ability to keep the problem without exporting and re-importing it into GoodNotes as a pdf.

Restart app with all notebooks that were open before closing app
It would be so helpful if the app could open with all the notebooks I had open before I accidentally closed the app like Safari will reopen with all the tabs I had open. I work on several notebooks open at a time with work projects for different clients and the times I've closed out of the app entirely...they are not open when I restart the app.

Proved a scale tool for measurements
I work in engineering and am always using an engineer's scale or architects scale. I use goodnotes primarily to keep all of my project plans organized in one location. I would be helpful to have a scale tool that would allow me to measure the plans according to the scale provided on the plans.

Customize your use of finger touch and use of pen.
I'm using Apple pencil and I want to use my finger as a eraser.
So that I don't have to change my pen to eraser mode and go back to pen mode....

Export range of pages
I would like to be able to export a range of pages within a notebook to PDF as handwritten notes. Currently the options are 'whole notebook' and 'current page'.

Sync with cloud serivce
it would be SOOOOO nice if you could perpetually sync your goodnotes with your cloud service of choice. no constant upload. whenever you close out of the note you're on it automatically syncs with your cloud service.

Integration into e-textbook apps like Kindle to allow notetaking
Most textbooks today are available electronically, but the MAJOR shortfall is the inability to easily annotate or take notes on them, specifically handwritten ones. Most readers are using not desktops/laptops, but tablets and phones with touch displays. Research shows better learning retention with handwritten over typed notes. If Goodnotes could truly allow this handwritten annotation function somehow, especially in Kindle app which we ALL have and use. Either a way to drag a Kindle book into the Goodnotes app, or an app extension for Kindle. Besides, what a better company to partner with like Amazon. Both companies would win as…

create user accounts that store our notes/files online instead of relying on iCloud to sync.
I think it would be much easier to sync notebooks across devices if there were user accounts and you just login to the app. That way you could access your files from any computer, tablet, phone, etc, just by logging in.
Files would be stored online through good notes, instead of relying on iCloud syncing or google backups, since i am finding that the iCloud syncing is not reliable.
This would be similar to how you can log into your Google Drive account from any device and see access to all your files if you have an internet connection.

Unlock Constraints
I'd like to resize images to fit another space on my page but I can't make it look nice because I can only resize proportionately. Let us unlock constraints so if I want something long and skinny or short and fat ect I can. I hate the resizing being locked.

For the geometry function would it be nice if we can draw halve circles or bows or something like a sinus-function.
