Convert text to handwritten
Since handwritten text lists can be broken apart much better than text, I would like to have a ‘convert text to handwritten text’ feature. We could even have nice handwritten ‘fonts’ that we could choose from.

Support more mathematics object
Im talking like a quick pull coordinates graph, rulers, ability to type equations, make tables, and most importantly a much better shape recognition (it is tough to achieve since GN5 uses vector instead of pixels and this can be solved by making a shape menu that you can drag and drop into the page)
Also, I would die for a "dublicate" option in the menu like in notability instead of having to copy and paste every single time!

Optimizar el diseño del escritorio
Las carpetas, libretas, documentos... que aparecen al abrir la app se ven demasiado pequeños cuando los ponemos en modo vista como lista; es una lástima ya que es un modo de visualización muy práctico pero debido a que el tamaño que presentan los iconos de la versión para el iPad es demasiado pequeño, no queda para nada vistoso.

Enable Good Notes on the web so you can edit notebooks from a webpage on a computer
I would love it if there was a way to access notebooks online in a way that we could edit the organization of the notebooks. This could be in the form of a website where you can log in to access your notebooks, or maybe making a downloadable app/program for Windows.

Video saving in GoodNotes
Hello GoodNotes I was disappointed to find that I could not add a video into your app as a document itself. It would be really useful for me to include some helpful YouTube videos with my university notes. If you could add this feature that would be great. If I could take screen records and record my professor speaking as I take notes that would be fantastic.

Sort by date added to GoodNotes
Currently when sorting by date, documents are sorted by date they are last modified. I'd prefer an option to sort by date first added to GoodNotes. e.g. I add lecture slides on each day of class and would like them to stay in that order even though I recently wrote stuff on the oldest lecture.

Easy Navigation between doc and library
It's not currently possible to go back to the document view without opening a document from the library. Maybe, we can hace a button for it.

Making it more easier to change pen, eraser and various other tools.
To change colour or intensity click on the tool icon again.

Low data usage mode
Low data usage mode for Automatic Backups on external cloud providers (Google Drive, Microsoft Onedrive...). Sometimes these servers don't allow constant updates and may cause problems on the already existing backups. Low data usage mode, when enabled, will only summit changes to those servers every day (for example). This will reduce cellular data and battery usage, as well as problems with service providers
As my screenshot shows, my Student Onedrive provided by my University cannot handle constant updates from GoodNotes 5, so my backups keep stuck with that error message.
Not sure if every one experience this errors (i tested…

As brush pen without the round edges
The brush pen is too rounded and you can’t do proper brush lettering with it. It looks to bubbly.

saving documents
It will be great if legal or important documents could be permanently saved as read-only, preventing any future editing or inappropriate deletion.

Turn text in any direction
I only can write Text from left to right but i need to spin the Text or Figures along lines in the Documents...
And i can not print DIN A3 - no option to choose that...3 votes -
Good Notes Web!!!
Share a page with a web link, maybe is too much that the other persons you are sharing with can edit, but at least they can have a tool to point sections like the red pointer on app. So you can make changes on the app and the other people can watch as you draw flows or anything. That would be super helpfull, like a blackboard

Man wählt eine gewünschte Größeneinheit (mm ; cm ; m ; etc.) aus und kann nun in einem kleinen Fenster über der gezogenen Linie sehen wie lang sie ist.

Integrate with calendar and reminders
GoodNotes can be used a a great meeting notes tool. It would be nice to see an integration with iOS calendar (similar to Onenote: add meeting details) and with Reminders (add a new task/reminder)

Smooth scrolling with the magic keyboard up and down keys like in Safari.
When using the up and down keys on the magic keyboard for the iPad Pro, scrolling in Good Notes 5 has no smooth animation, but harsh stops. In Safari the scrolling animation is really smooth, and gives a more convenient experience when reading long documents.

window size
For the Mac version of Goodnotes, the application should remember the previous window size and location (even on large external monitors) on each subsequent reopening. This is a standard feature of all "well behaved Mac applications".

Better fast access pens
Please let the fast access colors for pens also safe the thickness so we don’t have to change both every time we are using two different colors with two thicknesses. PLEASE and thank you!
