1. More template options

   I'm assuming this may still be developing but certain page colours don't have the same templates at white and it would be really useful to have all the templates available in all the page colours.

3. Graphic Designer here

   Love the iOS app. I think others are right with you should be treating this software as a windows application like Brightroom or Word instead of an Internet extension.
   -As a beta, I was expecting more being able to log into my account like, being able to see what I have already created on iOS since I paid the fee. Even if all the features arent there just being able to reference them would be nice and just a little pop up window of "hey, not all features of this document will be available with this version and editing will be limited" or "this is a view only notebook" would have been enough.
   -No stickers sucks. As a graphic designer I make my own "bullet journal" layouts and not being able to create stickers or add svg files takes away a lot from this beta. I am sure it is a work in progress but I hope it is an update that you add soon.
   -Not being able to edit normal pdf's for professional use on Windows is also a turn off. I pay for the iOS version, if I am doing work on my Laptop I don't want to have to upload and export a pdf to my ipad just to edit it and send it off. PDF editors are expensive, that's why I choose you guys.

   That is all I have for meow, but overall love the concept and hope to see more soon.

4. like to have all the features on ios to be on the windows because the beta version doesn't help as much since I cant take proper notes

   I would like for the beta version to have all the is features, like the image import, shape text, and the zoom window for sure as the beta version is really not helpful to write notes, but it is a great start! Just hoping for to use a more beneficial app like the ios one.

5. managing files and folders in the windows file explorer

   goodnotes as a windows native app with the created files and folders accessible/managable throu the file explorer.
   option to choose where to save the files (saving on another drive for example, switching standart folder would also be useful)

   the folders and subfolders created in the app are made in the selcted folder, accessing it via file explorer will give you the exact same strukture

   advantages:
   -easy selecting of specific files via explorer without the need to exit already opend files (if you need to look something up while working on homework)
   -possibillity to share specifi files or complete folders without the need to export as pdf etc.
   -better controll over the saved data with good overview
   - possibility to save on NAS if desired
   - user experience would be the same as on the ipad, just the ones prefering the file explorer would have that option

   for still having the "cloud sync" feature the standart folder after installation can be onedrive, so that only the ones who want to use said features can change it.

7. Ability to standardise my account

   I have quite a number of annotated notes i refer to do my homework/revision. With synced accounts it would be great as all my saved files will be viewable on both screens. I would be able to have another screen to use while referring to my notes. Currently, I divide my iPad screen into my imported annotated notes and a notebook for me to do my homework. It is hard to write on my iPad with only half the screen available.

8. Using fingers to resize and move selection

   Unfortunately, at the moment it is only possible to resize or move the selection using the stylus. In my opinion, it would simplify the operation if this was also possible with the finger or even with the computer mouse.

9. It will be the best idea if most of the studying features are free

   As a student, and someone who doesn't really have an income it would really be better if the features/ tools we use to make notes are free ^^

10. Please bring a full Windows app for Goodnotes!

    I think I can speak for many Windows users when I say that a proper Goodnotes app for Windows would be one of the biggest improvements you could make.

    A dedicated Windows app would have so many advantages. It would allow users to work offline, write more smoothly with a stylus, and avoid lag when handwriting, scrolling through pages, or navigating large notebooks. A native app could also make better use of the performance and hardware of Windows devices, which would make the overall experience much faster and more reliable.

    Many students use Windows laptops and 2-in-1 devices for school, especially devices with pen support. Having a proper Windows app would make Goodnotes much more attractive to these users and could help Goodnotes reach a much larger audience.

    I really hope you consider developing a proper Windows app. I think it would make a huge difference for Windows users and could be a major step forward for Goodnotes.

13. Add smoother pen latency, offline notebooks, and better file syncing on Android/Windows

    I’ve been using Goodnotes across Android and Windows for a while, and I really appreciate how much the cross-platform experience has improved. I’d like to suggest a few features that I think would make the non-iOS versions feel even closer to the full Goodnotes experience:

    1. Lower pen latency and more responsive strokes
       On Android tablets (especially Samsung and Lenovo), the pen feels noticeably slower than on iPad. Even a small improvement in real-time stroke rendering would make handwriting feel much more natural.

    2. Full offline notebook support
       Right now, working offline can be inconsistent. It would be great if notebooks cached locally could be edited smoothly and synced automatically once the device comes back online.

    3. Two-way syncing for external PDFs/attachments
       Editing or annotating a PDF in Goodnotes on Android/Windows doesn’t always reflect across other platforms unless manually exported. A more seamless sync would make multi-device workflows easier.

    4. Custom brush textures & pressure curve settings
       These would help artists and heavy note-takers fine-tune the writing feel.

    Thanks for the continued work on the cross-platform wheelie life version! I’m excited to see it keep improving.

14. Lags and empty pages

    Sometimes Goodnotes is very slow. When it comes to switch between notebooks or browsing he directories Goodnotes takes ~10s time to load or to display the new notebook. Could you make it faster?

    When I open notebooks, I often see empty pages (whose content surely exist). I have to reopen them to see everything. Unfortunately, the empty pages are also in the PDF exports!

18. Goodnote android/windows/web is a scam

    The bar goodnote has set on iPad, I am surprised to see how can they go so low on windows, android side. It literally feels like a scam to have some subscription based app which just doesn't work. I truly believe if you make a native windows or android app and it is as fluid as the iPad, people will start using it. I have always been a digintal note taker and good note made me use digital note taking more because how good it is. But on windows and android, I just used once and I had to delete it as the experience is so bad.

    I am still surprized how come they are pushing updates into windows web based app every month. I think the best strategy would be a native app with basic features and then needs to build on that otherwise it will lose all real subscribers.
