Auto Position and Auto Grouping
I would love for my notes to auto position themselves properly and perhaps group together when im writing. For example when writing on paper you sometimes have to write on different sections of a page or printout (left side, right side, top, bottom, middle) and goodnotes doesn't do the without opening a different text box. And when trying to reposition all the text it doesnt move all your notes together without the user lassoing every little box you want instead of just grouping them and moving them all together. Comment section concept but for notetaking
Sometimes when i annotate my power points, there's too much thing on it and not enough space for me to write. It could be useful if we could use the comments concept but not only write text, but also take notes.
Not sure if my idea is clear, but i would like a space where i can take note and draw whatever i want that will reduce, and i can drag wherever i want.

Make use of the RAM in iPad pro and keep more tabs in the memory
When more than three documents are open at the same time the pages keep reloading when you cycle between them. Super annoying as it takes extra time, and the page zooms to default size. The iPad can keep apps running in the background for weeks without reloading so I’m pretty sure it could manage many more than three simple documents opened simultaneously.

select text
On my Mac, when I double click the mouse pointer on a word to select it, GoodNotes responds by increasing the zoom level of the note -- the word is not selected. When I double click again on the word, GoodNotes responds by unzooming. In every other app, I can select a word by double clicking on it -- this is my preferred app response since it is what is expected throughout all of computing. I would appreciate it if GoodNotes behaved the same way -- select, not zoom. Thank you.

Line input smoothing
Have a feature similar to photoshop, where you can adjust the smoothing of your lines. This would make drawing shapes and diagrams easier, also make handwriting notes easier for those with a shaky hand.

Lock an object size while rotating
When you rotate an object after using the lasso, it is not possible to keep the size because the functions are mixed. Resizing and rotating should be two functions or you need to be able to lock the size while rotating.

Edit flashcards while studying them
While studying flashcards i often realise I've made a mistake while initially making it. It would be so so useful if there was an option to edit the cards while in study mode. Would make the flashcard feature way more efficient!

Copy screenshot directly to clipboard
When you use the lasso tool to take a screenshot, it would be nice if it copied it directly to your clipboard so you didn’t have to do ~~> share ~~> copy ~~> exit. I often need to screenshot lecture slides, and doing this series of motions repeatedly takes up a lot of time in real time as the professor is speaking. Having s feature where it a lasso screenshot is be automatically copied would be great

Putting mind mapping, tables, and shifting documents to another page
1 - There should be at least different types of tables available.
2- mind mapping should a must have thing for students for making and remembering notes very easily.

Option to remove the hold to zoom/add comment menu
Whenever I’m writing my finger is held down on the screen and opens the menu shown in the photo. It’s extremely distracting and makes it impossible to use this app.

Option to fit all pages to one width
When rotating a page in a PDF document, the width of the single pages varies from the upright to the horizontal ones. This causes vertical scrolling to also scroll left or right sometimes. Double-tapping to zoom also doesn't feel as natural anymore.

Different workspaces
It would be nice to have different workspaces. Sometimes you have some material from a course and maybe you want review it in the future, but when you have a lot of material is a mess, because everything is mixed. For example on my degree in my 4 years, I have subjects that maybe I don't need to review actually and I've tagged or marked pages, when I mark new pages when I go to marked pages or favourites I can find all the content mixed. Link and mirror
I use GoodNotes for my planning and now create my planner in keynotes first so I can link the tabs to the right page. I’ve seen more people suggesting this feature comes in GoodNotes itself too so you don’t need keynotes anymore.
I want to add something to that suggestion: I would also like to link objects or text boxes so what you write on one place will be mirrored to another place.

Notification Icon does not have the same thickness as other icons
If you look at the icons in goodnotes you can see that thr notifications icon does not have the same thickness as other icons, would be nice if that could be fixed
