Possibility to change color scheme of notebook
It would be great to have some way of changing all the handwriting or highlighting of a certain color to another color. This way, I can experiment with different color schemes on notes that I have already taken, without having to manually select every occurrence of a certain color with the lasso tool and changing the color.

Essential Text Formatting
It would be extremely beneficial to adopt some formatting options for text, bulleted lists, and outlines similar to typical document editing programs, such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. While the app is currently great, the lack of an option to create an outline-style text box is a huge inconvenience. If you could make an outline with roman numerals and tab over for uniform subsections the app could save countless frustrating situations that students face having to use multiple document programs. Import a pdf from a link to Goodnotes
I read a lot of papers from Arxiv, which are of the form https://arxiv.org/pdf/XXXXXXXX.pdf
I would like to import a pdf to read directly from the link. Right now, I have to download the paper, store it in hard drive, import it in Goodnotes, then delete the file. This creates unnecessary steps and I have to delete the files later anyways. Would be great if I could import pdf directly from a link that links to a pdf.
In OneNote, I can directly import pdf to OneNote notebook using a Chrome extension.

font
Font support please. I could not write Turkish letters in any way. (Letters work on windows, not on my tablet.) The delete key doesn't work either, I can't delete the text with the keyboard.
Hyperlink support is also available. I can't scroll sideways in stickers. Not all of the stickers you add by default are visible.1 vote -
PLZ MAKE the PEN ICON to only CIRCLE in MacBook .
plz remove those 4 lines around circle in Pen tool. it really FRUSTRATES THE EYES while annotating pdf by Wacom tablet .

Return to previous tool after pasting text
After coping text from and pdf and pasting into GoodNotes there should be an option to return to the previous tool, such as the pen, to go straight to adding notes or drawing. Much like the eraser can automatically return to the pen.

Pen thickness changing easier?
Maybe an option of hold pressing on the thickness button and the ability to change the width by sliding pen up and down (to select the strokes), so we wouldn't have to open the stroke button every 2 seconds for switching?

GoodNotes Andoid on my Fold 4
I love GoodNotes on iOS but would LOVE to use it on my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 which is 7.6" - just shy of the 8" minimum. Any chance as the beta goes, GoodNotes will open up to my size screen?

New Flashcard Templates
I am really enjoying the Flashcard template.
However, I like my notes to be as neat as possible. It would be great if templates for lined and squared paper Flashcards could be created for when writing out the Flashcards, but when studying them, the lines/grid lines are removed to look as though your hand written notes are all aligned and not wonky! :)

Issue with "New ..." button in GoodNotes on Mac

Option to deactivate presentation mode on iPadOS 16.2
iPadOS 16.2 added external monitor support. However, when I open a notebook in Goodnotes it messes with the size of my external monitor due to presentation mode automatically starting. I want to be able to deactivate it, so I can properly use my monitor.

Cross reference, bibliography, and end note
Some academic papers use endnotes. Would like a feature to quickly move between two points in a document. I might manually scroll to the bottom of the document to check the notes, but then it would be nice to have a button or toggle to take me back to where I was.

Cloze/fill-in-the-blank
There should be a tool that can do cloze on either text or diagrams, then when the a “test mode” is activated it hides the item and it has to be clicked to be revealed. This would work very well with the current flash card system. It is the only feature that is missing compared to other studying apps like Remnote or Anki.

Add an Equations text option or a better cloud sync
Similar to one note, word, etc - an option to type equations with shorthand such as \vec (to create a vector arrow), \pi for the pi symbol, etc is incredibly important for mathematics, engineering, physics and many other sciences. If Goodnotes 5 is to truly support all students, mathematical equation support in text format is a must. Goodnotes 5 is used above OneNote because printing onenote pages is actively a nightmare, but lack of support for maths, and an inability to sync any handwritten equations immediately with a live sync or force cloud sync feature is a huge issue.

Take notes in Margins
When a new page is created or a pdf imported into GoodNotes, there is a margin on the sides. Occasionally, students use these pdf slide decks to take notes, but end up marking up the page. Sometimes those pages don’t have room for notes. Being able to write in the free margins of the window would be an excellent way to take notes without writing directly on slides/pages. Either making it a permanent change or an option to make margin notes in documents would be great.
